Requests

Requests, broken links, re-ups and related topics go here. It may be easier for admins to be attentive to these topics if they are put here and not under the individual posts. There's no guarantee that we may be able to respond to everything, but we'll give it a try.

I've deleted the previous 'Requests' post as it was becoming a bit unwieldy.
I shall start the requests with the last one from the previous thread.

Once again Mew23 many many thanks, I really like your answers to my request. I also like much Douglas Ewart that haven't made many records. In fact this concert have never been officially released, only a very small part of it can be heard on the cd velvet Fire, it is the title George Bush#
https://www.discogs.com/fr/Douglas-Ewart-Velvet-Fire-Dedicated-to-Baba-Fred-Anderson/release/9257828
The booklet said that all the material have been recorded in Chicago but if you compare this track and the part that can be heard on the live posted by Filbert, it is exactly the same title, even Ewart sing exactly in the same way, difficult to imagine that the band have reproduced exactly the same title in different concerts.

I'd be grateful for a re-up of:
Amiri Baraka & Dave Burrell, Rome 2011
(It was around that time that I went to a really great reading with Amiri and Williams in another city...)

I have two more (last) request from Filbert's blog:
http://funlandatthebeach.blogspot.com/2009/04/dewey-redman-quartet-mohren-willisau.html
and
http://funlandatthebeach.blogspot.com/2009/04/neighbours-feat-fred-anderson.html
Obviously both are soundboard recordings or radio broadcast, that the only I take. If someone have those and can share here, Mew23,
The preview Neighbour in trio brought by Mew23 is absolutely great.
thank in advance

Hey Mew23, everyday is christmas with you. I have already listened to the Dewey Redman and it is a treasure, will listen to the Neighbours this evening. Thank you very much and thank to Filbert who was the original contributor.

@ mew23. Many thanks for Dewey Redman with the great Fred Hopkins. I saw that band but with Rod Williams on piano instead of Ted Daniel on trumpet.

If Nick or someone else could repost this early Chick Corea, it would be greatly appreciated! Otherwise, close to impossible to find and from Chick was at his most creative. http://inconstantsol.blogspot.com/2014/07/chick-corea-sun-far-east-express-1970.html thank you!

Hello! I hope you all have been enjoying the ongoing Riccardo project to re up all of his posts from back in the day. I personally have been working on this for several years and it's going very well. Recently I reupped 32 original Riccardo shares inc some that have been unavailable for a long time.

This is my 2 requests. 1-Does anyone have those Riccardo AEoC posts that the original posts are now missing entirely? I think there are 2 or 3 more in addition to Nevri 79 which is up. Or the other Enrico Rava? Maybe there was another Arthur Blyth and Bill Dixon. I seem to have remembered those. 2-My other request is I would like to be invited to some private blogs, private trackers, dc++ hubs or anywhere I can get access to rare jazz RoIO's. My email is volumeselector@gmail.com

Jose Maceda's music has been one of my favorites lately. Much of his music is only available in Japan, so recordings can be hard to find. I wish you can re-up these CDs featuring his work, thanks!

Though it is missing the ever important contributions of Sirone, the [James "Blood" Ulmer/George Adams] Phalanx at Moers is undoubtedly worthwhile and also long out of print. Anyone able to share? https://www.discogs.com/sell/item/432288652
