EKKEHARD JOST QUINTET "CARAMBOLAGE" (VIEW,1983)

Excellent music by Ekkehard Jost and his comrades. "Palestrinas Reise nach Cadiz" is one of my favourite tunes from him which he has recorded at least twice. Another version and other clichè-free music can be found here. http://www.jazzhausmusik.de/pages/catalog_by_id.php?label_id=11 I would like to recommend three CDs: "Deep" with - among others - Tony Oxley and "Some Other Tapes" with different line-ups (including the second version of "Palestrinas Reise nach Cadiz"). And "Wintertango" with his working group.

Herbert Hellhund, tp, flh, zither
Dirk Huelst, ts, roll shuter
Ekkehard Jost, bs, bass-sax, zither, perc

doesn't work for me, it says "an error occurred " I don't know if I'm the only one to have this problem?

@correct silence - Jazzhausmusik has stopped distributing other labels some years ago.
I think the only possibility to get Fish Music CDs is Discogs or other Internet sources. There might be a slim chance that the widow of Jost still has some stock.

I was confused. It seems that this post have been updated and I thought that you have added this link in the update to show some eventual new material in relation with Ekkehard Jost. if it is in relation with fish music I already have almost all his records :)

Yes it was meant in relation to Fish Music. I do not remember wether I have updated this post. But I'm quite sure that I have added the link to Jazzhausmusik already when this post was added to the blog.
Good that you have already most of the CDs. At the moment the price for Fish Music CDs is quiet goood. About 10 Euro for a disc is quite reasonable. And most likely the price will never be very high for Fish Music CDs. Jost and his musicians are not very popular etc.
