Aha! One I already have!

@bventure. Really? I wonder where you got that from. There's me thinking that I'm presenting these to the world for the first time. Not that the world seems to be very excited about it. Surely this was one of the greatest free jazz groups of all time? Pearls I'm giving you..

I got it from Paul himself, ages ago. He's sort of a friend of a friend. I sent him some Trane stuff he didn't have, and he was kind enough to send me a few CDs of, I believe, your recordings of Mujician in return. This was one of them. I seeded it and a couple of others on Dime at the time with Paul's permission. Mystery solved!

PS - PLEASE don't stop posting any of these just because I already have one or two of them - the vast majority I don't have, and I'd be devastated to miss out on nay of them! I do agree, Mujician were one of the greatest free jazz groups of all time - and I think it's a pretty safe bet to remove the word 'free' from that comment too, and endorse them as simply one of the greatest jazz groups of all time. Pearls indeed, and I'm very grateful for them.

Aha, mystery solved indeed. Nice one bventure! As always, thanks for your comments. I need the encouragement. :)

One of the funny/instructive things that happened was when I posted one of the Albert Inn, Bristol shows on Dime. A few months later someone reposted my (your) files as "Mujician at the Albert Hall"! Now that would have been a good BBC Proms concert!

Thank you for this post. I always want to hear more from this group. Yes, this is a pearl and you deserve every encouragement. They were great. At this point I don't think the US will see Dunmall again soon. He told me as much when I met him at Vortex last year. It is expensive to come to the States and tough on his body. We don't make it easy for musicians to come here. I am pretty sure the same goes for Tippett and Rodgers. So, this is the best we can do short of flying to London or France as that is where Rodgers seems to be based now.

Thanks for the encouragement to listen to this; despite the temptation of the Rugby world cup I've listened to this several times now. It really is an excellent performance, right from the start, and it must have been great to have been there.
