This is an incredible score, thank you so much. Fantastic stuff on here, thank you for your dedicated postings. I'm glad some people are filling the C#9 void!

Thank you glmlr, thank you Sotise. I love the Alan Silva grands ensembles, and I very much look forward to this duo recording.

Cheers

Gentlemen -- this is really wonderful. One of the many things I've uncovered from Inconstant Sol and all of its friends is a deep appreciation for Alan Silva. Is there any better feeling than realizing you've overlooked someone spectacular?

Glmlr -- many thanks for opening up your estimable collection for us.

Sotise -- I believe you've called Joe McPhee one of the giants of the music. Just wanted to give a shout out that I'm with you and hope you can do something to bring him to the attention of our friends here.

Thanks again everybody. I'm starting to get a giddy feeling about coming here every day.

One nice setting of Greene's recent stuff is his quartet with Roy Campbell, Adam Lane and Lou Grassi. I saw them live back in June 2004 and they were fantastic. They have an album (not as impressive as the live stuff) on CIMP, called 'Isms Out'.

Introspective. I like the short "speech" on side A around 12 if I recall correctly.
