CECIL TAYLOR- PRAXIS (REC1968, SOLO) FLAC, AND LAME

this one comes to us courtesy of 'glmlr'
who ripped this from his own vinyl, and sent me a copy.
'glmlr' says ' to you, and any other CT lovers who may not have succeeded in finding a copy of this record. It didn't have a wide circulation.
this is a clean rip, the original recording is good, though not state of the art by todays standards.

this one has certainly slipped under the radar,i did see a copy once over 20 years ago alas i was new to the music, and found the prospect of a double album of solo C.T, rather daunting so i passed it up.

this billed in the taylor sessionography as having been released in 1982, pretty much one continuous performance divided into four parts, each filling out one side of an lp.

heres some info from cecil's online sessionography.
PRAXIS Italy, July 1968
1. Praxis part I 18:37
2. Praxis part II 19:14
3. Praxis part III 19:15
4. Praxis part IV 19:00
Cecil Taylor: piano
Praxis Praxis (Greece) CM 104/105 (lp) 1982

sparse is'nt it

find cecil's sessionography on the saturnweb discogs site.

Of course I don't mind for the deleted comments, it was rather technical anyway, if I recall
