Thanks for the rip, EGN. It is, unfortunately one of those crude needledrop releases that you would not expect from Japan. Some crackle and rumble (e.g. very noticeable in the title track around 8:50, 10:35, 11:05, 13:30, ...), but I guess that's from the original vinyl they used as "master." Or, maybe they used the same sandpaper on the vinyl that they used to roughen up the cover design of the re-release. But what can you do, eh?

Yes Otto, unfortunately this a needle-drop. I got this rip from a friend who has the CD. I had "only" a vinyl-rip. Did not listen to the CD version until a few weeks ago.

Sadly this seems to happen more often than what I thought about Japanese reissues.
Encountered similar crude needle-drops (or once even mp3 on, for a more than 30 euros a Japanese CD) a few times during the last years.

Yeah, EGN, I have this Japanese CD too and was dismayed with the crudeness of it all. I downloaded your post, hoping it was a new release, but after re-checking my CD, it is exactly the same. Just too bad. Maybe ClickRepair on manual control can get rid of the most egregious clicks and pops. I have to try it some time.

I'm not sure what you mean, Otto. I just ripped it from my LP last night and posted it directly.

My mistake, I accessed the wrong 1fichier link by mistake. Sorry. I'll delete my previous comments. Very sorry indeed. Your new rip is indeed a vast improvement over the CD version. Thank you!

This will be reissued in a remastered version by Muzak in Japan on cd, obviously it will be available in middle of June but there are often few weeks of delay by this label. Considering the incredible sound quality of their preview reissues, it will certainly be great.
