Interesting blog but why do you have the flag of the Palestinian authority? I don't remember them producing any Jazz albums....

I have listened to this album twenty years ago at a friend's house and it left me very good memories. Listening it again confirm my memories, there are hundreds and hundreds modal records but this one is very special, on top of the list. There is a real meeting between the band and Harold Land, each part gives energy to the other. Thank very much mvns for this new contribution.
I have a request if you are in the Japanese jazz:
-Masahiko Togashi - Place Space Who, a solo album that was available for his fan club.
Can we imagine that a bootleg reissue coming from this post will appears soon?

@ Ranchu - maybe the Palestinian authorities should help to produce a first Jazz album from Palestine.

Jazz from Palestine... I'd be up for that, jazz from ANYWHERE in fact! There will never be too many things to join people together.

@Ranchu
You are right, to my knowledge Palestinian is a people who have never produced any jazz record, but it is also a people who have no country, who is victim of oppression and war crimes.

@Ranchu
I'm personally very proud to contribute to a blog who features the flag of Palestine. It appeared long time before I joined, but it is one element that makes me consider that this blog is so special and unique.

You are absolutely right! The crimes committed by the Palestinian authority against their own people is insane. The world provides food, shelter and money with the goal of building hospitals, schools and infrastructure but all the money goes to terror activities against Israel. People have nothing to eat but their leaders are living like kings. Sad.

There is a part of the blog more appropriate to these discussions, it is the section "free form", it is there that I will answer. the dialogue on this particular page must remain centered on the music provided by Ernst. Nevertheless the Palestinian flag will stay on this blog and if you don’t like it, you don’t have to follow us. I still think that you will continue to follow us because you have too much desire for the music that we propose. So you will probably continue to download with the Palestinian flag flying above you. In my opinion you need more from us that we need from you.

You're right. My bad. Next time you are in Gaza, come over and bring some CDs and LPs. I will bring the humus and pita. We can play music only until 9pm because after that it is forbidden by Hamas.

On the top of the comment a certain follower was not happy with the Palestinian flag, saying that to his knowledge palestine have never produced any jazz artist.
