thanks, greatly appreciated. There is something about this series … perhaps, the immaculate yet sachlich musicianship, the lack of ingratiating flourishes, the pleasure which results, and beauty, too, the way irony is confined to the framing, yet is there and set in steel. The treasures jostle each other under an inconstant sol, but these sets shine as insistently as any. msj
