Glad the 1f link is still alive. Thanks, onxidlib!

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but after about 10 attempts, I either have a stalled - and eventually failed - incomplete download (browser working on the download for 1+ hours), or the browser tells me that the file I am trying to download contains a virus (Chrome), but in any case, none of the browsers I have tried has achieved a complete download yet. Very strange. Any recommendations?

@Otto It worked fine for me, using Chrome. Took a few seconds. I'm subscribed to 1Fichier. I don't suppose that helps much.

Thanks, Andy. I registered with 1f and tried again. At at speed of 72 kbps it "only" took 1 hour 16 minutes - and it completed too. I dunno. Maybe my ISP interferes, or maybe the 1f server o-3.1fichier.com is acting up. In any case, I'm glad I got it on my HD now.

BTW, the Liebermann who is mentioned prominently in the liner notes is the same person the former Sendesaal 10 des Funkhauses Hamburg is now named after. Rolf Liebermann was the longest serving (twice) and most respected Intendant der Staatsoper Hamburg. And he once had a close relationship with Lale Andersen too; you know the chanteuse who sang the "original" Lili Marleen.

As wikipedia noted, "Liebermann war Vorbild für die Figur Robert Mendelssohn im Film „Lili Marleen“ von Rainer Werner Fassbinder."

Hi Otto,
I hope you don't mind me translating the quote from Wikipedia.

"Liebermann was the model after which the character Robert Mendelsohn was created in the movie "Lili Marleen" from Rainer Werner Fassbinder."

BTW - concerning 1fichier.
I've paid 10 euro for a year's premium account.
I'm not affiliated with it's company but nonetheless I estimate the charge as quite reasonable.
