On July 12, 1973, Keith Jarrett played one of his first piano solo concerts in the Bremen broadcasting hall. Plagued by back pain, he still shone in his two sets. Listen to the ECM release »Concerts Bremen / Lausanne«. But not completely, because the second half of the first set is still dormant in the archive. There, Jarrett shifts the brooding and romantic tone into an improvisation based on boogie-woogie rhythms. On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of this concert, it's time for these tones of Keith Jarrett's that few have heard before.

Am 12. Juli 1973 spielte Keith Jarrett eines seiner ersten Klaviersolokonzerte im Bremer Sende-saal. Von Rückenschmerzen geplagt, brillierte er trotz allem in seinen zwei Sets. Nachzuhören auf der ECM-Veröffentlichung »Concerts Bremen / Lausanne«. Allerdings nicht komplett, denn die zweite Hälfte des ersten Sets schlummert bis heute im Archiv. Dort wandelt Jarrett den grüblerischen und romantischen Ton zu einer auf Boogiewoogie-Rhythmen basierenden Improvisation. Anlässlich des 50. Jubiläums dieses Konzerts ist es Zeit für diese bisher nur von wenigen gehörten Töne Keith Jarretts.
