I certainly don't want this one to schlip by. Thanks to the collaborative Onx/Marten team.

"schlip by.." ..
- and the crowd groans !!
:-)
But agree, many thanks to both team-members on this one.
"onxidlib's on the top turnbuckle and it looks like he's in a bodyslammin' mood - but oh my goodness - what's this? It's marten and he's wielding a chair - a real chair ladies and gentlemen "
etc etc ...

The Rassegna 'was' organized. It's long time dead. It was a great concert of a very special evening. Opposite the trio was the duo of Anthony Braxton and Richard Teitelbaum at their peak. What a night!

Thanks, this band is a favorite. The artwork that I've seen on the couple of Po Torch lp's I've come across has been well thought out.Wish there was a re-issue program in the works.

There’s also an LP from Po Torch of the Schlippenbach Quartett (with Alan Silva) from 1981: "Das hohe lied", another rarity.

Thank you so much for this one. I am in the lucky position of having slept on the Schlippenbach/Parker/Lovens Trio all these years --- in other words, I have the unalloyed pleasure of hearing their wondrous recorded output for the very first time, with fresh and eager ears.

So again, many thanks for sharing this, and for pointing me in the direction of the digital FMP reissues at Destination Out. I would literally be musically illiterate if it weren't for the constant efforts of Inconstant Sol for the past seven years and counting!
