PETR MATUSZEK - On The Threshold Of Light (1996)

PETR MATUSZEK - Na prahu světla / On The Threshold Of Light (Happy Music 1996)

This is not usual IS avant-jazz, but I think it would be interesting to hear for some people here. In the forefront of the album is singing of Petr Matuszek, combining classical and aliquote techniques in the works of Czech contemporary composers. Title is OOP for many years, as the label disappeared from Czech music scene.

very intriguing. thanks a lot.
i was charmed once in mid-eighties by the "modern" (in reality long ago become "modern" classicall) works of Czech composers sung by the Prague Madrigalists ensemble, especially by a little work of Petr Eben ('An Old Time Love Incantation' for female singers, in the anthology 'Musica Nova Bohemica et Slovenica 24' released by Supraphon cca. 1963).
hope, this new one could be interesting too...
