so u r the Hemphill guy! (see your response to my Kowald/Hemphill)

a nice complement to the 2 CD's i have from live in NY respectively, Oakland.

ooooooops, this is the one i have on CD. :-(

anyway, i want to mention 2 more CD's

A. Hemphill in duet with Warren Smith, "Chile-New York" a Black Saint from 1998.

B. Hemphill in trio with Wadud and Don Moye "Raw Materials and Residuals" also Black Saint, 1978. This recording was considered seminal for that period by the reviewers, critics of Jazz Hot (France).

by the way, this upload is still important for me because has the 2 great shots of the covers. the CD version is very poorly done. Hemphill's statement on the back cover is interesting.
