Kidd would come up to Chicago to play at Fred Anderson's Velvet Lounge jam sessions that took place after the yearly Chicago Jazz fest sets. Everybody (and I mean everybody) showed up to play at Fred's after the Fest was over each night They would play at least 3 sets a night, into the middle of the night. It was a revolving door on that little stage.
Man, I miss Kidd and Fred.

An important document because the official discography of this group has only one lp and a half. On those official records most track are edited due tot the vinyl capacity. Even if on this live the personnel is slightly different, the music has the same orientation.
