Thank you so much for this fine testament. Rest in Peace Mr. Taylor. His expressions of intelligence, talent, and creativity blended seemlessly together were beautiful to witness.

CT always puts me in a good trance. Some of my most intense live music experiences were with his bands in the 70s & 80s. Thanks and peace to CT.

Thought I would come back and give another thanks to Andy for this one.
Now that I've listened to this a few times. Excellent recording! I knew this would be good, but man, they are on point!! Always thought Thurman Barker brought so much to Cecil's world (and really all the bands he played with) whenever he played with him, with his onslaught of percussion.
Barker is one of many interesting voices from the early days of the AACM. It is a shame he hasn't recorded more. Recording were pretty sporadic until he moved from Chicago to New York in the 80's.
Thanks again for this great duet performance.
