Hope this stays up - Hannan's "manager" has been known to bust on people sharing this record - even the cover art - online. A friend was trying to go through legal channels to reissue this LP years ago and things just got too strange on the family/"manager's" account to make it worthwhile. Cool record that more people should be able to hear.

If you hadn't pointed it out, I may have overlooked this piece of information:

"First recorded appearance of David S. Ware"

Thanks, onxidlib!

Yes Clifford - I already had an encounter...so I shall remove it in the not too far future or maybe earlier depending on the unwanted attention this post might get.

Thanks so much for this. I thought hearing Birth of a Being was as far back as I would get with David S Ware. This is so great - especially under the threat of getting 'bust on' by someone for sharing a now historic artifact.

Hi Onxidlib
I downloaded it some weeks ago but only burnt a cdr yesterday and played it for the first time today, a totally great album that makes clearly feel what was the spirit of the time in culture, social rights and hope for the future. it"s good to live on this planet to have the chance to listen such great music.
