This really cooks. I think it was Crazy Uncle Eugene who said that when it comes to free jazz the saxophonists got the glory while the trumpeters mostly were overshadowed. This isn't entirely free but it's a great trio date along the lines of Soinny Rollins at the Village Vanguard
