gruben = mine, pit
klang = sound
bergmannsleben = miner's life

In my language: gruveklangorkester

Sounds quite nice. Thanks!

Thank you dear friends - Kinabalu & Lucky!

'gruveklangorkester' sounds quite nice in my ears too!

I onlywant to add that 'Intrada' in this context also could be read as "entrance" or "beginning" - symbolically to running-in the mine for one's shift.

Thanks for the musical and linguistic lessons.

One small correction to the English: "minor" is someone under the legal age of adulthood (etwa "minderjährig" if I remember correctly) while "miner" is a person who works in a mine (for example, digging coal or iron ore). The pronunciation is indistinguishable between the two words. (typisch Englisch ... ;{) )

Thanks for both the interesting music and the linguistic info ...

Thank you onxidlib, by the way somebody requested a Contact Trio album with Theo Jorgensmann. I was wondering if you by any chance have this record?

Unfortunately no Contact Trio (or Quartet) in my collection.
