What a surprise!
Thank you Riccardo for this gift!!
For those interested, I just received François Jeanneau & Jean-Louis Chautemps in my radio show, they're talking about the Quatuor:

It's in french...
Thanks for the share, Riccardo!
Very cool, double thanks.
Wonderful. Many thanks.
Priority re up! Please, lets get this lost gem to the people.
I'm not sure about François Jeanneau, who was one of the saxophonists on the LP EUROPAMERIA (Palm, 1977) and also was one of the four players in the Quatuor de Saxophones in Moers (1979). But the question is if he had also played with the big band in Moers. After all, François Jeanneau does not appear on the only photo that seems to exist of that band in Moers, which can be viewed at https://www.facebook.com/palmunit/photos/jef-gilson-europamerica-big-band-andr%C3%A9-jaume-fran%C3%A7ois-couturier-pierre-yves-sori/1649518571771519/ .
HI Unknown - it seems you are right.
The Moers Festival archive does not list Jeanneau on the line-up for the big band.

Jef Gilson (keys), Francois Couturier (keys), Jean - Louis Chautemps (reeds), Philippe Maté (reeds), Andre Jaumé (reeds, cl), Alain Hatot (reeds), Patrick Bourgoin (reeds), Jacques Di Donato (reeds), Jean - Charles Capon (cello), Pierre-Yves Sorin (b), Jacques Thollot (dr), feat. Byard Lancaster (reeds)
But the informations aren't always correct instead it seems the archive contains mostly what was scheduled but not necessarily which musicians actually have been playing at the festival.
please reup
A reup would be much welcome!
