heres a great improv album, in the tradition of earlier amm, in fact it features keith rowe
if you like drifting ,improvised soundscapes,in and out of which drift sonic squalls of noise, and at times quite high pitched and semi industrial ,then perhaps youll like this.

this is as far removed from african american jazz roots, as free improvised music gets.

I'm really curious about this record. I like amm, especially Before driving to the chapel...featuring a magic John Tilbury. There's a fascinating moment around the middle of the album if I recall well.
Thanks a lot for this rarity !

HH
oui ,j'adore AMM
I PRETTY MUCH LIKE EVERYTHING OF THEIRS, I AGREE THAT CHAPEL IS MARVELOUS, HAVE YOU TRIED LIVE AT EGG -FARM ON PSF, AND ALLENTOWN,ALL PRETTY GLORIOUS.
MY FAVOURITES THOUGH ARE PROBABLY, THE CRYPT 1968, AND A VERY UN AMM LIKE ALBUM THAT THEY DID WITH CONTEMPORARY/CLASSICAL CELIST RONAN DE SARAM 'THE INEXHAUSTIBLE DOCUMENT'ITS THE AURAL EQUIVALENT OF A SLOW ACCUMULATION OF CUMULOUS CLOUDS,THAT SUDDENLY WHIRL INTO A FERROCIOUS TORRENTIAL WHIRLPOOL.

Hi Sotise,

I don't know any of the three amm recordings you tell me about. And your description of "The inexhaustible document" looks very promising.
I still have to hear N:Q ; tonight I guess...
