Thank you very much!
Thanks a lot
Thank you, Ernst. For what its worth, two listed performances of the "Wolfgang Dauner Orchestra", are both on different dates (July 13, 14) than the above (16th) on this website: https://historia.porijazz.fi/en/festival-years/1973/performer/wolfgang-dauner-orchestra-3929/
Excellent post Ernst, Wolfgang Dauner was a real incredible musician with many various styles. Recently I found an interview of Jean Luc Ponty from 1969 and he said that Wolfgang Dauner is the only pianist that brings to him something very interesting in his music. It is not nice for the others pianists with who he played at the time but it reveals the artistic power of Dauner.
@Garu - thanks for your input - I assume that the Pori website has it correct. I got the music with the date I've added above. But I'll amend according https://historia.porijazz.fi/festivaalivuodet/1973/esiintyja/wolfgang-dauner-orchestra-3929/
@correct silence - yes Wolfgang Dauner is way to underrated.
Many thx!!
Much appreciated!
Life can be surprising: while searching the web, as I do every day at our friends' house, I accompanied myself (and still do right now) with Dauner and Mariano's “Tagore”.
And I come across your post, Ernst...
As they say in Bangla: Aschorjo bepar, jadu jinish ghoteché, shotti!
“Something strange has happened, really!
