UPCOMING RELEASE XXIII
Good news!
Cadillac Records will resissue a veritable gem this month (around April 21).
You can choose between vinyl (straight re-release) or a CD which includes - apart from the original LP - also parts of a hitherho unreleased follow-up session.

When I saw the up coming release at dusty groove I thought it was only a reissue of the lp, that was already a good news but checking cadillac at bandcamp I saw that the cd includes a second sessions never issued with different bassist and drummer, so yes it is a great news.
@CS - Yes and the different bassist and drummer are Wilber Morris and Thurman Barker no less.
Pretty sure the unreleased sessions were the following year (1984) after Intensive Care. I wonder at the reason it wasn't released - they even had a title for it -'Prescriptions Filled'! - and I really look forward to reading the liner notes for more info. There could be some stories in there about Jazz Doctors bandstand violence, and other interesting topics too. And unseen Val Wilmer photos - a bonus!
