@Nick
I think that the stylus jump on the beginning of the track "spirits" can you check and fix if possible?

I think seriously that the lp reissue of evil season is a bootleg and that the source has been taken from the rip made and posted by Nick here.
At the time Nick posted his rip, I noticed a slight defect on the second track (spirit). In the beginning the turn table was jumping and the consequence was that the first line of the theme have disappeared. I have taken the missing (less than one second) part on the second time that they play the theme to stick it at the missing place for my own version because Nick didn't post again this track. Listening by chance to the sample of the track that is available on Bandcamp, I noticed that they have simply removed the first line of the theme. They could have done the same thing as I did, cutting the missing part in another moment and sticking it at the place it is missing but they have chosen simply to remove the first part of the intro. Do they have read my preview comment (that I have removed since) or do they have noticed the same defect that I noticed.
The second thing that allows me to affirm that the lp version has been taken from Nick's rip is that on the same track during the intro, there is also a very very light (pop that can only be heard with headphones. On the sample from Bandcamp, this small pop can be heard at the same place.
After Futura/marge who have been stollen some rip also made by Nick, this is the second time that a label takes his master from Inconstant Sol and it is not the last time.
I think that the two recent digital reissues from Fringe Benefit also comes from Nick's post: "Towards a relative music " and "a mere finger pointing at the moon. I don't know if the Graham Parks also comes from the rip made by Sottise long time ago.
Do this blog have to be proud of this? or do we have to regret that the labels doesn't make much things to reissue from the masters.
IN the case of Fringe Benefit it seems that some masters have been lost but in the case of the Saheb Sarbib, this is a shame. I know that the guys of Souffle continu records were in touch some month ago with Sarbib and it seem that he was not so interested in reissuing his music so they and I were very surprised to see the reissue of evil season.

I am very happy for artists and labels to reissue recordings from rips of their own music, if they don't have masters available. If they ask me directly, I can share them in high res files (and check better for errors!). I did send out the Palm catalogue and shared Analapos with Akio Suzuki and Lawrence English, for which they sent me some nice recordings in thanks.
