Hi Nick and Pierre. Very good idea to post this one because for those who have listened carefully to the TTT & Jeanne Lee "Don't freeze yourself to death over there in those mountains http://inconstantsol.blogspot.fr/2014/04/jeanne-lee-dont-freeze-yourself-to.html they may have noticed the sound of the saxophonist C Sharpe. After a quick research I found him on "Indeed" by Lee Morgan in the late 50's. Then he played briefly with Archie Shepp and dropped out of the radar to come back in the collective TTT, so I was very curious about this second and only other release with him and I haven't been disappointed, even the b side is nice when Penck plays flute à la Don Cherry, nice one.
sad news that AR Penck has passed away - http://www.artnews.com/2017/05/03/a-r-penck-painter-whose-work-reflected-on-the-postwar-german-condition-dies-at-77/
