MUJICIAN - B.M.I. Birmingham 1989. Set 1

KEITH TIPPETT - piano, music box
PAUL DUNMALL - penny whistles, tenor and soprano saxophones
PAUL ROGERS - bass
TONY LEVIN - drums

Set 1
1. 45:24

Birmingham and Midland Institute, Birmingham.  14th January 1989

The very first concert under the name Mujician.  What Keith Tippett does in the first ten minutes, taking it down to an exquisite, hear-a-pin-drop, almost-stop, is a beautiful thing.

Special.

Nice recording by Stu.

To me, Mujician was the most coherent band playing free music. Everything they did made sense. Thanks, Andy. Jay

Another for the 'excellent, listen to often' pile. Thanks Andy.

Hi Andy, thanks for another Mujician concert. If there's a second set I'm already looking forward to that.

Hi Danny. Yes there is another set. I want to know what people think of this set.
@ Jay - Thanks for your comment; I'm in complete agreement.

If I were in London, I think I'd be heading over to the Vortex right now.
