Hi Jay. To be honest, I thought the well WAS dry, but I realised I hadn't posted this already. I'm listening to it again now with the volume turned up a bit more than usual and it sounds great! The trusty old cassette recording holds out remarkably well, with a nice dynamic. One of the greatest groups of all time without a doubt. I hope you enjoy it. (Another one coming soon)
@ Andy, indeed, this might be the first jazz(ish) gig I went to with my (now) wife; and the first time I saw Paul Rogers (instead of Chris Bolton). May I ask, were you living in Birmingham? I don't suppose you recorded the wonderful Andy Hamilton MBE / David Murray Big Band gig?

Just when I thought the well was dry... Thank you very much, Andy. Jay

Thank you Andy!
Thank you.
PS Is this the gig that featured an Irish bagpiper and a string quartet?
@ Martin. That's right. As Keith Tippett announces at the end. Did you go?
Thank-you once again

Thank God for more Mujician, greatly appreciated. Perfect desert island band!
Irish bagpipes? String quartet? Keith Tippett? Count me in!
Many thanks again, Andy - the quality of these cassette recordings is remarkable.
@martin. Near Warwick. I'm afraid not.
Remarkable! Thank you Andy, for the umpteenth time.
many thanks
Thank you again, Andy! These are highly valuable documents.
Just keep them coming. I was there and at the Murray gig. Thanks for the timetravel back to the first.
