Steve, Basil Kirchin is not really a band leader in the conventional sense. He arranged spliced together tapes of found sounds and improvisation.

Thanks, didn't know about this, and interesting to have some early Bailey / Parker. Just listening to part 1, a passage in the middle put me in mind of the more recent Spring Heel Jack.
