i'm trying to figure this out. are his boots and trumpet holster made of the same leather? at first I thought she might not have a right foot. anyway, whatta cover and title. :-P
big avenel/johnson fan here.
still getting to know oki, but obviously he could pull together the heavyweights... you've really been on a roll lately with some fascinating fascinations, Nick, I must say! don't cramp up them clickin' fingers!

A very pleasant mainstream-ish album. I'm surprised to hear Avenel and Johnson in this setting. I usually associate them with Lacy during that time.

As a sidnenote: I like BUA's observations about the leather accessories on the front cover. That's "partner-look" at its finest (assuming they are/were partners).
