destined for the ECM label, hence the artwork. However, it was picked up in
Japan by Victor for their Globe sub-label and, in the end, was never released
on ECM or on CD.

I had found out about this record somehow back in the 90's, and I'd had it on my wish list for years till someone else finally posted it on another blog. Of course, I have to check out your rip so I can make sure to have the best quality! This is of course an example of generosity and effort for the sake of the music, and I wish I had better ways of showing my appreciation than my little anecdotal stories!

Bought this on LP many years ago and it's fantastic, one of my favorite Mal LPs. It's actually quite surprising that no reissue has appeared.

Thanks for this! It sounds better than the copy I had. I noticed, though, that it runs slightly slower than my previous copy. And, indeed, when I compare the running times to the album scan in the download, the running times of the flac files are slightly longer. I'm wondering which is correct. My old files match the running times on the album scan, so I'm guessing the files posted here are slightly slow. But maybe the original album was mastered slightly fast and this was corrected when it was put out on CD?
