There is also a disc on Slam from a day earlier, again with Rudd but a different band: Alex McGuire, Marcio Mattos and Mark Sanders, and recorded at the Vortex. Also worth getting. Makes me wonder what the production process was for Bladik - did they know it would be this sextet for a while, or where the Vortex shows trial runs and they thought the guys in Mujician were a better fit?
