@Nick
The last time you told me that it will take a long time was about the re-up of all the Toshi Tsuchitori and you re-up all of them less than one week after my request... Very fast in my opinion!
I suppose that you have to do a bigger job in the case of "Double face" because it have never been posted here before, so I can understand it will take more time, but if it comes I will appreciate it very much and I'm sure I won't be the only one.
thank in advance.
In the same mood as Double Face by Contact Trio if someone could share Beyond by Giger-Lenz-Marron

it would be christmas before christmas!

Hi Milos
it is great but unfortunately I can't download on mega, every time I try the process stop before the end, it seems that they do this for all the people who haven't account, after several download. I asked a friend to do it for me and the same thing happen to him. Could you post it on 1F, if no I will see what I can do with some other friends.
Hi Milos
I was too hurry and didn't check it before posting my preview comment but this one on mega is an mp3 version, I already have the mp3, i search for an upgrade in flac.
Nod Y - I arleady announced earlier I will upload mp3 @ 320 version from musica degradata. I can not upload it now anywhere else than on mega. Creating account there will cost you approx. 1 minute and dowloading works almost perfectly and quickly with their MegaSync extension. Otherwise you can go to http://musicadegradata.blogspot.cz/2013/01/contact-trio-double-face-1975.html and try unfriendly rapidgator, as I did.
Hi, all. Is there any chance of a repost of
older Michel Portal concerts, specifically
Portal Unit in Hamburg, '74, and Portal
w Bennink and Brotzmann? Thanks so much.
nod y i also trust mega. the megasync works great. there is never any malware or anything.
and downloads are very rapid.
robert
Hi Bippy,
Portal
w. Bennink and Brötzmann I do not have or at least I do not find it...
Two others I've reupped:

Hi, Ernst, many thanks! The Michel Portal
concerts sure are great!!

Hello. Thanks for all the great tunes here. I was wondering if you could possibly re-up the Damiani Opus Music Ensemble-Flashback 1983 LP? Originally posted on 30 JUNE 2013. Thanks
Hello Nod y. I know it's not FLAC, but that fine album is on youtube.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bgVuUwMo9js
The whole album is there in different video links.
Hi Anonymous
thank for your link, in fact this post on youtube comes from the file that have been posted some years ago by prog not frog. The link is dead but another blog posted it on mp3. In fact I discovered that this blog took the file from prognotfrog because on the track two there are some gaps during the music, incredible! How some people can upload some files that they took from somewhere else without checking if the file is correct! I found a correct version of track two on youtube but unfortunately it is in 192 or 128. here it is the only blog where people share in flac so that's why I request it here.
Hello
All along those last years some lp's of pianist Michael Smith have been posted including "reflections on progress" or "the duality of man" but all the links are dead. A re-up of the 3 or 4 lp's of Smith would be great.
Thanks in advance.
A very belated thank you to mew 23 and Ernst for their last
contributions of Michel Portal concerts. It's really amazing
how great he is and what a variety of musics he's played
so creatively.
Please re-up MUÑOZ – RENDEZVOUS WITH NOW (INDIA NAVIGATION, 1978). The links are broken. Thanks very much.
Can anyone repost the concert of Michel Portal,
Bogan Z and Fly Trio? This was originally Ricardo's
post. Many thanks.
A message for Ernst.
Some month ago you told that you were working on some reissues of the Modern jazz Quintet Karlsruhe and perhaps Four Men Only, is this project still growing?
Can someone also re-up the followings:
http://inconstantsol.blogspot.fr/2013/10/hans-kennel-audience-plainisphare-1985.html
http://inconstantsol.blogspot.fr/2011/09/bob-degen-trio-celebrations-calig-1968.html
To Nod and all who are interested.
Yes the reissue project for the MJQK (and Fourmenonly) is still in the making.
I'm confident that in 2017 the project will bear fruit finally.
Hello, I was looking for a possible re-up on this glorious post:

Yes and please, can someone up DREAMTiME Double Trouble on Reel Recordings? And post? THNX all.

Hi roberth,
the Yanomami LP was reissued last year in April as a double CD/LP.
https://www.discogs.com/Various-Lost-Shadows-In-Defence-Of-The-Soul-Yanomami-Shamanism-Songs-Ritual-1978/release/6955777
Hi Farmer Allan,
you might not know but here at IS we do not offer readily available music/links.
So I shall delete your comment later.
Regards
thank you farmer allen. i have missed on this one
so many times. you can't imaagine my happiness
robert
roberth - compared to the old Bead album, the new Sub Rosa double CD has much more music, and the sound is a lot better, too! When I heard of the reissue, I immediately bought the double CD. It's cheap, too:
http://www.subrosa.net/en/catalogue/soundworks/david-toop-yanomami-shamanism-songs-ritual-1978--lost-shadows-in-defence-of-the-soul.html
Hopefully one of you can reup this one, sounds very exciting.

Does anyone have Franz Koglmann's "The Use of Memory"?
I can help with uploading use of memory within days / weeks. Otherwise here is torrent in flac http://rutracker.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4803439
Thanks a lot for the link, Miloš. I was looking for this album on rutracker before posting my request, actually, but it never showed up on my results, for some weird reason. Is that particular thread hidden from the usual search tools?
Any way, thanks! You've made my day.
I do not know, Bender. I simply found it when logged in. You have to put correct artist name, one mistype will mislead you.
Hi
If someone have the first lp of the Master of Unorthodox Jazz and could share it in flac it would be great
https://www.discogs.com/The-Masters-Of-Unorthodox-Jazz-Overground/release/5641644
thank in advance.
I have the LP - and already made a digital copy of it.
As far as the reissue is OOP I shall upload it during the next days.
Hi Ernst.
Few minutes after I posted this request I discovered the more recent post by Corvimax, what a coincidence! I didn't even know that there was a reissue of this lp and after searching I found that it is now rare as you say so I'm waiting for your post, thank in advance.
I have another request regarding a strange group called Alpine Jazz Herds with Christy Doran & Hans Kennel, they have made one album in the eighties called "Swiss Flavor", if someone have it...
I shall not post the LP 'Overground'. It seems it is still available for 15,- euros from the source.

Hello Ernst
Can you finally post your digital copy of Overground by Masters Of Unorthodox Jazz, it seems that the lp is Oop from the editor, the only copies available are at discogs starting from eur.35.
It would be much appreciated.
Hello
I don't know if other people have experienced the problem but since today 1fichier is no more free, don't know if it is for all the countries but from France you can't access the download for free and without registration as before.
In case anyone else was looking for it, Nick was nice enough to re-up Jeanne Lee's "Conspiracy" album.
http://inconstantsol.blogspot.com/2013/04/jeanne-lee-conspiracy-seeds-records.html
I would like for a reup of http://inconstantsol.blogspot.de/2007/07/luna-space-swell.html
Anyone has still the files?
Hello Considering the recent excellent post by Corvimax about the Austrian scene, I have two request about two lp of the Reform Art Unit from the late 70:
https://www.discogs.com/Reform-Art-Unit-Reform-Art-Unit/release/4662938
https://www.discogs.com/Reform-Art-Unit-The-With-Alaeddin-Adlernest-The-Reform-Art-Unit-With-Alaeddin-Adlernest/release/563129
it would be absolutely great to have one or both here.
@ correct silence,
the latter RAU LP was shared by blogger Vinylust here in the
contributions section in March 2013. I've re-upped it at
https://1fichier.com/?gdy2pvs9u6 [flac]
@Mew23
Many, many, many thanks for this gift. I didn't know I.S at the time it was posted. I also wanted to thank you again for the Luna Space Swell that I had on lp almost twenty ears ago and didn't listen til the time I sold it. I'd like to ask you something, on different perspective in my room you have posted a long time ago a live show by Swiss band OM, I think it was at the festival Alpentone or a name like this, but the link is dead, have you still got this live show? I really like OM and would be very interested to listen to it.
Hi everybody.
I have 3 request regarding older post on Inconstant Sol and one request regarding Serviceton's Nine Grey Chairs. If someone still have the flac files of the New York City Artists Collective "plays Butch Morris" and could post it here it would be great. And my 3 request for some re-up are as follows
http://inconstantsol.blogspot.fr/2013/08/nebu-nebu-les-disques-cadence-1978.html
http://inconstantsol.blogspot.fr/2013/10/hans-kennel-audience-plainisphare-1985.html
http://inconstantsol.blogspot.fr/2011/09/bob-degen-trio-celebrations-calig-1968.html
Many thanks in advance for those who can help.
I would like to request a re-up of some of the AMM links which have stopped working. The October Gallery sets and London Lighthouse 1989. Thank you
I would love to have a number of AMM concerts, of which links are dead.
October gallery, London Lighthouse, Blefield, and the links from Sotise (Blefield and Rome)
Thanks!
Hello to all
Some years ago in the contribution section someone have posted a concert by Theo Loevendie at the Bimhuis from 2009 but unfortunately the link is dead. If someone have the file and could re-up it it would be great, recordings by Loevendie are precious because he haven't recorded much.
Happy ending year
Hello
Some years ago Vinylust posted two lp by Bruce Ditmas on the contribution section: "Aeray Dust" and "Yellow", if someone still have the files and would be kind to share it it would be much appreciated, thanks in advance.
I'd love to hear the Tchicai concert from Italy - http://inconstantsol.blogspot.com/2009/09/john-tchicai-and-open-orchestra-live-in.html Looks wonderful! thank you!
I would like to second S.W.'s request for these two: -JOHN TCHICAI WITH STRINGS
-DON CHERRY/JOHN TCHICAI LIVE 1980
Thanks!
I wonder if it might be possible to reup the John Carter at Middleheim? John was under-recorded, so this would be a treat.
Thank you!

Hello
Do someone still have the flac version of Rumasuma by Sonny Simmons posted at ninegreychair by Serviceton? If someone still have it and could post it here it would be great. Thank in advance.

I believe I have "Page Two" on a external drive. If not tonight then tomorrow.
Hey there! Does anyone have Makoto Terashita's "The Great Harvest"?
The great harvest have been reissued on cd two years ago and is very easy to find everywhere
https://www.discogs.com/Makoto-Terashita-The-Great-Harvest/release/7703697
I've been trying without success to get the Rudd/Tchicai/Lacy/RAI Big Band/et. al downloads [https://inconstantsol.blogspot.com/2017/01/roswell-rudd-john-tchicai-steve-lacy.html?showComment=1484974097746], but have been repeatedly stymied by zippyshare. Last attempt I actually got 6 of the seven files, only to discover they were corrupted. Any chance of a re-up on another platform [e.g. mediafire or filchier]? Thanks so much... you guys rock!
I was hoping that someone would be willing to re-up:
Bernd Alois Zimmermann-the Numbered, Improvisations & Tratto (Wergo-2549-005) 1969 featuring Manfred Schoof's quintet.
Thank you very much.
Hi !
Unfortunately it seems i discovered your blog too late ! :-D
If you read this, i really will love you for a re-up of :
Atté - Sondela (feat. Dudu Pukwana)
Thanx anyway !

Love from Italy !
Hello!I would be interested in Sunny Murray and David Murray Quintet - Live in 1975 but can not find the link.(massmirror not work)
I would be grateful if it were a new link!

Hello. Would you consider to add a new site to your wall: https://billsbluenote.com? It's focused on the albums Bill Elgart has made with various musicians from Germany, Italy, the States, Japan, etc. between 1968 and 2017. Have a few interviews with band members posted, with more on the way. Thanks for your time!
Added to our blogroll > Bill's Blue Note
Am really interested in this center of the world post if anyone still has it for a reup.

Hello
I'm sure Ernst can help...
In the early years of this blog Jamabiko by Michel Pilz have been posted... Can it be possible to re-up... And I'm sure if it is not Ernst who help, the music will be the same
Will upload the Pilz' LPs.
Greetings, thank you so much for all of the wonderful music that is posted here and to all those who take the time and effort to provide it.
I was wondering if the Joe Maneri/Mat Maneri Duo/Trio stuff could be re-upped at some point?
Thanks a lot,
C
I'm very curious about this double lp of Bill Dixon/Aaron Siegel.Ben Hall that is oop now
https://www.discogs.com/Bill-DixonAaron-SiegelBen-Hall-Weight-Counterweight/release/2009630
if someone have it and could share it would be great, thanks in advance.
I have the LP - probably also already a rip from the LP.
Please help - I'm looking for Vinko Globokar's CD Hallo, Do You Hear Me? in flac.
Or the LP Ausstrahlungen · Fluide · Atemstudie (also in flac).
The above mentioned CD does contain the three compositions from the LP plus the composition which gaves the CD its title..
would it be possible to re up
the great three begin the beguin. the gary peacock togashi record?
the gamefront link is dead. thanks
robert
Vinko Globokar - Hall, do you hear me?
http://www21.zippyshare.com/v/fsBVBrXN/file.html
I can not help with flac, but with mp3 320, if it is ok.
Thanks for the Globokar - I have some LPs rips, as requested.
Also, the two Great 3 cds
Thank you BluesDude for the CD rip.
I will still search for flac but I really appreciate your swift answer and the chance to listen to the music!
Nick - probably you have already a rip of the Globokar LP. Or even a stereo rip of Pilz' Celeste. But I suppose you mean a.o. the Dixon LP Weight / Counterweight.
I'll see what's coming.
Hi Ernst - no just the specific Globokar requested. I have Celeste, so I could do it, but not to hand.
Hi , I have a request. Don't know how much of the orchiddoctor / carville transfers any of you got off DIME when uploaded a few years back. But most of that stuff has vanished from the internet (There is one other place besides here that has some lower bit rate versions of some of the shows which I was glad to at least hear). I Think I have most of the stuff that was posted here (Many, Many thanks for sharing what you have, because these recordings truly are treasures!!!!!). But I look at that list carville posted on your AEC Empty Foxhole post. Damn there is a lot of great looking stuff. Anything would be great but of extreme interest is-
Muhal Richard Abrams
5tet - Air + Roscoe Mitchell - Ali's, Alley NY, NY 3/4/77 (3cd)
5tet - Air + Roscoe Mitchell (set 3 w/Kalaparusha, Bluiett, Freeman, Dara) - Ali's, Alley NY, NY 3/5/77 (4cd)
(Never seen anything w/ this configuration of musicians as a quintet!!!!)
Dave Holland
w/Rivers, Braxton and Altschul - Studio Rivbea NY, NY 12/1/72 (2cd) (A few days after they were in the studio to record Conference of the Birds!!!!!WOW!!!!)
These are just a couple that caught my eye, But really everything in that list looks amazing(all those 70's AEC performances)
Anything, really, would be great. Everything I've heard so far, the quality of the audience recording have really been pretty amazing for the vintage and what they are. I mean this isn't exactly the Grateful Dead as far as abundance of live recordings.
Thanks for everything you all do at I-Sol and happy 10 year anniversary!
p.s I left a query (not a request) in the free form section. If anyone knows the answer or a way, I saved that email after the failure.
Here is Hallo, do you hear me? by Vinko Globokar in flac, with other music, French radio broadcasts collected by Uncle Meat.
http://www.mediafire.com/file/fk5ohwo8c9feqw4/Vinko+Globokar+%28b.1934%29.zip
Thank you for these live versions of Globokar's compositions.
The LP version has a.o. Portal and J.-F. Jenny-Clark as musicians.
Jeff,
I managed to get most of the carville/orchiddoctor's material off Dime, including the one from the Empty Foxhole that was posted here before. I focused on the AACM/AEC material which means that I have the two Abrams, but not the Holland set. I mean to post more in the time to come, becayse I've always been a huge fan of the AEC and all of its various spinsoffs.
Regarding your query, I can try to get in touch with carville through Dime and it's possible he might have an updated contact address for orchiddoctor. I'll let you know in case I'm making progress in that regard.
Thanks for your kind words re. the anniversary!
kinabalu, thanks for your response. I truly look forward to anything that gets posted and I truly appreciate the lossless copies that you (as whole at I-Sol) post. These are truly historical recordings.
Glasses up!!! All hail the few tapers who were out there recording this type of music back in the early days (like orchiddoctor, riccardo and the likes) to capture these treasures!!!!!
I too am a huge AEC/AACM fan, growing up in Chicago from when I was 6 until I was about 32. Unfortunately I was to young to see them in the seventies but saw my fair share in the 80's up till about 2001 when I moved.
Today I was listenning to the Roscoe Septet show from Rivbea, February 8, 1976 that used to be in the contributions section, but snuck it's way into the comments of the trio performance post on your site from the same year. Man they were in full tilt when the tape ran out in the second set!!!!!
Cheers to all at Sol. Thanks again!!
please re up JOE HENDERSON AND KIKUCHI, HINO – IN CONCERT (FONTANA, 1974)
thanks. also any possible of that togashai and gary peacock record getting re upped
i will recheck now to make sure it hasn't already happend. thanks for all the magic
robert
Please re-post Ray Russell Quartet-Dragon Hill

Looking for Jerome Cooper solo LPs in flac...
Hello everyone!
I'd like to ask if someone could re-upload the link for glmlr's LP rip of SOH album posted a whole bunch of years ago by Boromir (http://inconstantsol.blogspot.com/2008/04/skidmore-oxley-haurand-soh-1979.html).
Also interested in Noah Howard's shows shared by ubu via his space (http://ubu-space.blogspot.com/search/label/Noah%20Howard). Sadly, the links are down and ubu is no longer active...
@Preacheros
Regarding the lp of Skidmore/Haurand/oxley, it is now available in a box set with three others albums, one of Leszek Zadlo and two others with Alan Skidmore. And if you wonder if it is interesting to buy a box set for only one album you search, I can tell you that the three others albums ar absolutely great and if you don't know them you will have a nice surprise
https://www.discogs.com/Various-The-EGO-Recordings-Of-Leszek-Zadlo-Alan-Skidmore/release/7297468
Request a reup of an old Riccardo post if possible- AEC - Live in Nervi '79
http://inconstantsol.blogspot.ca/2009/10/art-ensemble-of-chicago-live-in-nervi.html.
Thanks
correct silence,
thanks for the info! Hm, I've seen a mention about this box-set in the comments to SOH post, but didn't check it out, being confused by Leszek Zadlo name who I don't actually know nothing about. The other 3 albums from the box do seem interesting.
@Preacheros: even the Leszek Zadlo is great, he is a Polish saxophonist who haven't recorded very much. You'll find him on 3 of the 4 cd's and particularly the European Jazz Quintet with Skidmore, Dudek and the team of Haurand on bass and Pierre Courbois on drums.
Hello
I was wondering if someone have it and could share the lp of the Septet Matchi Oul to pay tribute to the memory of Gérard Terronès who passed away last week.
https://www.discogs.com/fr/Septet-Matchi-oul-Terremoto/release/940104
This album is one of the futura/marge who haven't been reissued and who now probably will never be. Gérard was the owner of the label and the producer too.
I can post Terremoto - will have to scan the sleeve first
In advance I thank you Nick and hope it will be an opportunity for all the followers to discover Septet Matchi Oul in relation with the Palm second lp of Machine Oul that have been recently updated.
I saw somewhere maybe here or elsewhere someone mentioned having previously posting a link for a Don Pullen Solo Concert from the Boston Jazz Festival in 1992. It was an extraordinary concert. Don played three encores and "Ode to Life", played at the concert is available on YouTube, but not the rest of the concert. If anyone has this concert, please re-up it. Thanks.
Hi !
Is it possible to re-post all the Francois Tursques stuff especially "Le Piano Préparé"
looking for this from a long time ..
thanks very much
Link still active at http://inconstantsol.blogspot.de/2008/02/francois-tusques-intercommunal-music.html
And Tusques' Free Jazz album is available on CD > http://www.orkhestra.fr/catalog.php?FIND=IS039
@Nick
In your future list of posts can you consider to post the trio of Siegfried Kessler, Gus Nemeth, Stu Martin "solaire" if you own the lp?https://www.discogs.com/Siegfried-Kessler-Gus-Nemeth-Stu-Martin-Solaire/release/1388425
thank in advance if it appears on IS
I can post Solaire
@Nick I'm grateful in advance. In fact I was considering the discography of the label futura/marge to prepare a tribute to the producer and I saw this lp and noticed how Siegfried Kessler have been under recorded. Inconstant Sol is perhaps one of the last places where tribute to forgotten musicians is possible.
Hi Ernst
will you finally re-up the Michael J Smith "Elvira Madigan and other dances" I'm very curious about this album considering the excellent others ones previously updated.
please re upload
KÜHN, Joachim & Rolf Bloody Rockers
KÜHN, Joachim & Rolf The Mad Rockers
i just saw 'em in contributions but links are dead
thanks in advance
Alex in Solex
Alex, I believe I still have the Bloody Mad Rockers on my hard disc.
If so, I will post them in the contributions section tonight. Stay tuned.
Does anybody know if a live recording from Jimmy Jackson's Haboob in Stuttgart ca. 1970 exists?
@ Alex: Sorry, only The Mad Rockers left on my hard drive. Please find them over in the Contributions section.
Kuhn Bros - Bloody Rockers in Contributions too soon
Regarding the Terje Rypdal 2CD set from Bremen 1973, I wonder if anyone can provide access to the mp3s? According to the comments section for the 2016 FLACS, the mp3s may be from a better source and sound better--many thanks to all for both versions, in any case!
@Revroth
I posted this concert in the mp3 version coming from the soundboard but the link is no more active and I have deleted my own copy from my hard disc, but the flac version posted by Kinabalu is more than correct, the difference was very light and you could only hear it by a very careful listen and a very high quality hi fi material. I think Andy was also interested by the mp3 version so perhaps he can help you by re-posting it. In any case the flac link is still available.
@Revroth - I added link to mp3 of Rypdal in Bremen 1973 to original post https://inconstantsol.blogspot.cz/2016/08/terje-rypdal-trio-live-at-sendesaal.html

any chance for a FLAC - i have it in 128 terrible sounding archive- rip of great "Acting Seven / Clan Music Overdrive – Babel" , please? thank you very much for great music uploading. Alex in Solex
Hi Alex in Solex - I do not have the LP you're looking for.
But I have a question. I understand you are from Greece.
In summer I want to go to Athen and also to Krestena near Pirgos.
Maybe you can give me some information about music-stores with good sortiment or locations where I would be able to hear some improvised and or experimental music etc.
Thank you in advance.
Hi to all. I have excellent rips of several early ROVA Saxophone Quartet LPs.
Does anyone have good scans of the covers - at least from the front side?
https://www.discogs.com/Rova-Saxophone-Quartet-Cinema-Rovat%C3%A9/release/1151710
https://www.discogs.com/Rova-Saxophone-Quartet-Henry-Kaiser-Daredevils/release/1673083
https://www.discogs.com/Rova-Saxophone-Quartet-Invisible-Frames/release/2742551
The following have reasonable good scans on discogs but better ones would be appreciated:
https://www.discogs.com/Rova-Saxophone-Quartet-The-Removal-Of-Secrecy/release/858422
https://www.discogs.com/Rova-This-This-This-This/release/883670
I would prefer to post them with a cover scan/picture.
Here's what I can contribute - scans for
ROVA - This, this, this, this (Moers Music, 1980)
https://1fichier.com/?j716odnyz7
That's great - thank you, Mew23 for your help. Excellent scans!
Now let's see wether we can get some more scans ;-)
any chance for a FLAC - i have it in 128 terrible sounding archive- rip of great "Acting Seven / Clan Music Overdrive – Babel" , please? thank you very much for great music uploading. Alex in Solex
@Nick
when you will end your series about TTT, that helps me to change my opinion about his music, will you post the Siegfried Kessler Trio Solaire? it would be great.
@ Ernst Grgo Nebhuth
thank you for your -even negative- response about Acting Seven / Clan Music Overdrive – Babel . i expect correct's silence offer.
Now about places that somebody could listen to improvising etc music im Athen...hm!
i inform you that only 5 or so major concerts take place annual, usually in http://www.sgt.gr/eng/SPG1/? or more sporadically in http://www.megaron.gr/default.asp?la=2.
This month in 14 DOKUMENTA's programm we 'll have more cultural events.
Tomorrow i'll go to concert -one of rare by them- of MARGINAL CONSORT , on 4th of May Frederick Rzewski http://www.megaron.gr/default.asp?pid=5&la=2&evID=3631 , on May 20 Diamanda Galas & later a concert of Fred Frith .ticket prices from 10 Euro (in Stegi's events to 100 Euro in e.g D.Galas concert ,too expensive avant garde he he, not so bad isn't it?
But that's all , clubs or other places in greece have dull or awfull music for my taste. Some of them dominate whole place with their disturbing silly mainstream music.. last chance? personal home listening. i would wish be more optimist but harsh reality rules..
From the other hand Krestena is near ancient Olympia if you interested about, kilometers-long beaches (around KAIAFAS lake). i had been there for a weekend back in 80's , so my opinion is out of date.So Far, so good.
best regards
Alex in Solex
Thank you Alex - appreciated your survey about clubs/locations in Athen.
Lying at the beach isn't my preferred way of spending my time.
My wife speaks some Greek and she has friends in Athen and near Krestena. She lived on the Peloponnes for about three years if I recall correctly.
You have mentioned some concert locations. What about a reasonable good record-shop in Athen?
How about local Avantgarde music?
Thank again for your help!
@Ernst Grgo Nebhuth
hi again,
yesterday we had a great MARGINAL CONSORT concert. beyond boundaries imagination, body stretching made music from 3 of them especially, from modified traditional musics to pure noise , a huge number of selfconsrtucted micro instruments or found oblects , in a 3 hours plus set-performance. what other could i say?
Now about record shops...
https://www.vinylhub.com/shop/22042-A-Strange-Attractor
my old friend's place is the top record shop in exper/garde .
https://www.vinylhub.com/shop/5722-Vinyl-Microstore
very good shop, active crew , cultural micro(their favourite word i consider)-event organisers,
https://www.vinylhub.com/shop/14150-Art-Nouveau-Records
a historical record shop -since very early 80's- , releasing tapes from Legendary pink dots back in 1983, portion control, paul roland, publishing fanzines for psychedelic music . in 60's psychedelia the owner Nikos is a deep cognoscente. but all these are beyond your taste, isn't it?
About greek avant/experimental scene, i think that i don't know pretty enough to recommend some artists. in random i could refer to Nikos Veliotis , a talented cello player,http://www.nikosveliotis.com/
The Callas: a idiosyncratic duo making music, films, paintings,http://thecallas.com/
https://thesorg.bandcamp.com/ it's a good record company from saloniki , now based in UK.
that's all for now
best regards
Alex in Solex
Wow! Thanks a lot Alex for caring!!
For sure I shall check out some of your recommendations.
It seems "Strange Attractor" isn't far away from where I shall stay on Athen. Probably only 20 minutes on feeet from our friends.
Concerning "beyond my taste" you are correct - nowadays. But I used to listen a lot to the music called psychedelic. Still do so today a bit. F.e. recently I bought Linda Perhacs first recording.
Not at least in the end of the 1970s and during the 80s I made a lot of music. Every day for at least four years at least 5 to 6 hours. A good part of our output could be termed 'psychedelic'.
The main reason for not listening much to other musics than Free Jazz/Improvisation and Contemporary Classics (already much less) and a bit historical recordings of socalled 'ethnological music' is simply that the day still has only 24 hours!.
I like to delve deep into the stuff I admire. Off course I do check out a lot of music which I do not listen fully.
My work at a really big record-store has some opportunities.
Thanks again, Alex!
h'lo hey:
Gunter Hampel + Jeanne Lee's Oasis (1978) is gone. I would be happy, joyful, esctatic etc! if it could re-up.
http://inconstantsol.blogspot.com/2013/12/gunter-hampel-and-jeanne-lee-oasis-1979.html
Cheers!
@ Ernst Grgo Nebhuth
excellent choice Parallelograms by Linda Perhacs. i first listened to her album in 1998-99 reissue from "the wild places" label.it was in the same label (Kapp) with Silver Apples so reiisue was sine qua non for her album, for good i consider.
i believe too that your work is a big opportunity to keep in touch with music or even better to delve into your favs by repeatedly listening.
i think that all devoted listeners made the same . i was also listening 5, 6 hours daily when i studied in uni. We -me & my friends- listened all records we had that time - as musical marathons- by Van der Graaf Generator,Can,Gong,Magma, Art Ensemble of Chicago, Cecil Taylor, john Coltrane & so on . It wasn't only "psychedelic" music , i din't dare to call it so the last three names , but was a great music , it was a blooming era... Nowadays I do the same sometimes, alas in "non lethal" portions.... C'est la vie!
keep on sharing great music
best regards

Would it be possible to re-up the Peter Kowald Gianlugi Trovesi A.R. Penck Trio? I'm just discovering all this AR Penck with the recent posts. Thanks!
http://inconstantsol.blogspot.com/2013/10/peter-kowald-gianluigi-trovesi-ar-penck.html
I leave a message on the page of the post but perhaps if I leave another one here, it might be seen by more people. The actual file available for TTT featuring A R Penck - Aspect Of The Ny Ny Ny Situation is probably incomplete, all the tracks stop suddenly before the end. if someone have the full double lp in flac it would be great to share ithttp://inconstantsol.blogspot.fr/2008/08/ttt-featuring-ar-penck-aspects-of.html
thanks in advance.
NYNYNY coming
Searching in Karl Berger's discography, I found this double lp that I didn't know:
https://www.discogs.com/fr/Muun-Music-Universe-Featuring-Ing-Rid-Karl-Berger-Dave-Holland-Muun-Music-Universe-Vol-I-The-Peace-C/release/2368823
I thought it might be a good suggestion for a future share if one contributor own this double lp.

Hello, everybody!
Traveling through Frank Wright's catalog of recordings I discovered a couple of his great late 70s albums - Shouting The Blues and Kevin, My Dear Son - both released by a French label Sun Records. I have found them in 224/256 mp3 quality and those have a decent sound, but if someone has digital copy of one of these or both works in better quality on deck, please share! Thanks!
Hi Nick
I wanted to take time to listen to the album before leaving my thanks to you. It’s a really wonderful album that remain me in the feeling (more than in the music style), of the albums that Don Cherry recorded during his Swedish times. It is the same creativity, the same way to build a track that can go to several directions that are difficult to imagine for the listener. Berger and crew are at the top of the creativity during this album. Thank you also for the perfect transfer quality, nothing to edit if I want to burn a cdr. So my gratitude to you Nick.
@Lucky thank you for the link to « a darker shade of blue » but I don’t visit this blog because it’s purpose is far from my conception of the way to share music and respect the musicians. Many of the music available on this blog is still in print and while the records store fight to survive, while records company drop more and more their back catalog, some people request music day after day and few people try to answer as fast as they can to those requests… a very disappointing show in my opinion. It is not because things are possible that one have to do it. Pretending that we like music means the respect for the ones who do and produce it. I’m not sure that it is the case at « a darker shade of blue » but when one don’t take time to look sometimes his face in the mirror, it is easy to go on in the wrong way.
@correct silence: I see you point. The problem with sharing music has been discussed on the web endless times, and there are as many opinions as people sharing. For me the only 'right' way of sharing music would be to get the OK from the musician and/or right-holder! The point of OOP might seem a good one, but it doesn't make it really legible, only morally, but that doesn't prevent lawyers to hunt to if you are unlucky. To share old music still in print might seem less wrong than brand new music, in case of bootlegs and shoddy re-prints even more so. A good way would be to only share ones own music, and let the musicians and composers take care of their music themselves - regardless of availability.
Hello
I have a request perhaps for Nick who possibly can have the lp. Some years ago Ernst aka Onx posted the solo percussion by Cleve Pozar but his version is in mono and reading the comments it seems that he haven't the original lp but only a transferred version.
http://inconstantsol.blogspot.fr/2011/01/cleve-pozar-solo-percussion-csp-early.html
If you have the original lp could you provide a new version in stereo, and if this gemm comes from someone else I will be happy too! Thanks in advance if one can help.
No, but I can scan Armonicord, if wanted
yes
I am looking for unissued live sessions of Warne Marsh and Gary Foster
from 1970 and 1971, shortly after the recording of Warne's "Ne Plus Ultra..
There are several sessions from this period listed on the "Warne Marsh
Unissued Sessions" site. Thanks for any help with this.
Hey there! Does anyone have Rova's very first album, Cinema Rovaté?
"Cinema Rovaté" is in preparation.
Tony Oxley Quartet (Incus 15) would be amazing if anyone has it. Thanks in advance!
Hello,
I'm looking for:

Hello. Recently stumbled in to your blogspot. I'm blown away by the depth and breadth of the archive you've built. I've found significant upgrades of a number of items I had, and discovered any number of recordings I never knew existed. A few requests for re-ups:

Thanks for sharing this magnificent music.
Is there any chance of a repost of the
George Lewis-Doug Ewart
concert in Novara, 1979?
Thanks to all.
Hello if someone have a tape of the Reform Art Unit /world Music Orchestra published in 1990 by Granit record, it would be great to publish, here are the details:
"World Music Orchestra" at Vienna City Hall with Brian Abrahams, Leena Conquest, Bleda Elibal, Paul Fields, Dill Katz, Rabih Abou Khalil, Fritz Novotny, Jim Pepper, Mohammad Tahmessebi and Levent Tarhan MC: GR 90408
Recently a friend of mine gives me a digital transfer of a tape published in 1985 perhaps under the name "Fritz Novotny Unit Feat Louis Moholo", here are the details:
"For Africa" TM with Louis Moholo, MC: GR 85406 / RAU 1015.
The initial purpose was to publish it here but unfortunately when I listened to the recording the sound was not very good but more important the second part of "suite for Africa" is not complete and my friend have nothing more, there is also no art work. So if someone own this tape and could share it, it would be great.
@correct silence: For Africa with Louis would be interested for me in incomplete form anyway...
Anybody got this? The First Gale Of Spring (Elton Dean Memorial Concert, 100 Club, London, U.K. May 9, 2005). Seems it is exepensive unofficial CD-R release (https://www.discogs.com/Various-The-First-Gale-Of-Spring-Elton-Dean-Memorial-Concert-100-Club-London-UK-May-9-2005/release/7113713). I know the Dreamtime set was released as video on Double Trouble 2CD/DVD set by Reel Recordings.
@Milos
Regarding the Fritz Novotny Unit & Louis Mholo I suggest to wait a little time to see if someone reply. I also check others ways to get a better copy, it might take some times. if no result I will post mine.
Arcane V "marron dingue" french free jazz of the glory days, if someone have it, it would be more than welcome, thanks in advance.
Basil Kirchin World Within Worlds (both LPs)link seems to be broken/missing. Please reup as the records are impossible to find. Thanks so much for your great work!
Hi - today I saw (in horror...;-) that I've deleted side B of Beaver Harris' LP "Negcaumongus".
I do not know when or why I did so but my request should be quite obvious...
So maybe someone has side B of this LP in flac....thanks in advance.
Hi Unknown - the Adrive link and the one from 1fichier are still working.
...and when you have reunited both sides you can post it if you want Ernst?
Hi,
Mengelberg Bennink MIDWOUD (ICP, 1978) would be awesome :-)
http://inconstantsol.blogspot.se/2014/01/misha-mengelberg-han-bennink-dutch-jazz.html
Cheers!
Would it be possible for a re-up of:
- THE ARTISTS' JAZZ BAND – LIVE AT THE EDGE (MUSIC GALLERY EDITIONS, 1976)
- THE ARTISTS' JAZZ BAND – DOUBLE ALBUM (ISAACS GALLERY & MUSIC GALLERY EDITIONS, 1973)
Thank you!
Hello
This is a very hard request but I try. It is the album of solo percussions made by Masahiko Togashi for his fan club in Japan, limited numbered edition:
Masahiko Togashi "place Space Who"
https://www.discogs.com/Masahiko-Togashi-Place-Space-Who/release/3917168
But after the Alan Davie Music Workshop posted by Nick, everything is possible on "is"...
I have Togashi's solo LP, but am waiting for a stylus repair for now.
@ correct silence regarding Novotny Unit w/Moholo - I would love somebody to react of course, and I am waiting, maybe a bit impatiently...
@Milos
I go on searching for a clean copy, it takes time. By the way I'm not home actually and I even can't post my own (not clean) version because it is on a hard drive that I haven't brought with me, can do it only after August 15.
Hi
any chance for a re-up of these impossible to find out of print MEV classics in FLAC - MEV 1968 / ROME CANRST please ? I found an old c90 AD tape of them in a box (Alan Bryant;s track omitted there...how fast goes time sometimes..
thanks for great music
best regards

If anyone can provide a re-up for Ian Brighton's MARSH GAS, it would be very much appreciated. Many thanks!
Thanks to Ernst for posting a new link to Ian Brighton's MARCH GAS... unfortunately, it already seems to be dead (tried from Safari and Chrome, in both cases I was told the file was missing). Can anyone help? Thanks!
Hello, I wonder if there is a way to get the link to the audio for the Baden Baden Free Jazz Meeting of 1967 particularly the performance of Andalusian Proverb. I am writing a book on Jeanne Lee, and this would be very helpful indeed. Thanks!
eric.lewis@mcgill.ca
I wonder if it would be possible to get a link to the recording of the Baden Baden Free jazz meeting of 1967, particularly the performance of Andalusian Proverb. I am writing a book on Jeanne Lee, thanks!
eric.lewis@mcgill.ca
Hi Eric Lewis - it is re-upped....
Does anyone have a copy of the Improvisational Arts Quintet: No Compromise! on Prescription Records with Kidd Jordan and Alvin Fielder?
I have recently picked up on the Circle 2 - Gathering date, and it's brilliant. Any possibility of re-upping the Circle in Germany date [http://inconstantsol.blogspot.com/2008/08/circle-live-in-german-concert.html]? Thanks for all your great work!
JazzHound, if you search around on blogspot you can find a bootleg Live In Germany, which isn't the same as Circle 1 - Live in Germany. It's very good and as I recall, is a slightly different set list.
JazzHound, if you go to the link I've posted you'll find both of the Circle in Germany recordings. http://inconstantsol.blogspot.com/search/label/Circle
Hi, is it possible to post Michał Urbaniak Group, Paratyphus B in flac? thanks
Hi Nick
Here is a list of possibles post that for sure are not available in any format:
-CCMC vol 4 & 5
-Masahiko Togashi Place Space Who
-Siegfried Kessler Trio "Solaire"
Sure Ernst won't find any of them!
Please can anybody re-up this one https://inconstantsol.blogspot.cz/2011/11/hugh-hopper-lol-coxhill-mad-axe-quartet.html ? Original multiupload link is long time gone...
Milos, I am uploading right now which is a rip of the CDRs that I burned back then.
If anybody could come up with the original file set, I'd appreciate it.
I have just discovered that there are videos of the Ojai Music Festival 2017 online. Curated by Vijay Iyer, the concerts include Tyshawn Sorey's Spectrum of Variables, Vijay Iyer's sextet, a trio performance by George Lewis, Roscoe Mitchell and Muhal Richard Abrams, and much more.
You can use this link to access the videos, or just find them on you tube.
