....Requests
Requests, broken links, re-ups and related topics go here. It may be
easier for admins to be attentive to these topics if they are put here
and not under the individual posts. There's no guarantee that we may be
able to respond to everything, but we'll give it a try.
I've deleted the previous 'Requests' post as it was becoming a bit unwieldy.
I shall start the requests with the last one from the previous thread.

«Oldest ‹Older 401 – 600 of 2206 Newer› Newest»Hi Tantris - unfortunately I do not have a rip nor the LP. Would like to hear it as well, though.
But should you want to buy a copy I believe the label still has copies for sale.

Ein stolzer Preis...as we say in Germany (a proud price in English - don't know wether it translates the meaning...)
Searching for Robert Rockwell III - Androids. If anyone could post that, I would really appreciate it. Been looking for it for a while. Thanks.
This seems as good a place as any to ask this, and you guys the best people to ask:
I've read "As serious as your life" by Val Wilmer a couple of times, and I'm curious if there are other books that can give a biographical picture and something of a timeline for this music in a similar vein? Especially something like that for European and Japanese musicians I've discovered through this blog, which I really love but know almost nothing about. Thanks!
Hello onxidlib - I thought they had sold out some time ago. Hmmm, I wonder if I could justify spending that on a 2-LP set?
Soybean - I spent some time a few years back reading several books on free improv, and from that I'd recommend Mike Heffley's 'Northern Sun, Southern Moon'. I think there have been a few more recent ones, some of which are mentioned on the freejazzblog.org site. I'd also be interested in a guide to the Japanese musicians that Nick has introduced here, most of whom are new to me, if such a guide exists.
Tantris - Thanks very much! 'Northern sun, southern moon' looks like exactly what I've been looking for. I'll check out the website, too.
A lot of the Japanese stuff has been really great. This blog has been a watershed of growth as a fan. Knowing more is always good!
Cheers!
The seminal book about Japanese Free Music seems to be Teruto Soejima's "Nihon Furi Jiyazushi". I say 'seems' as I'm not fluent in Japanese ;-)http://www.yesasia.com/global/nihon-furi-jiyazushi/1003837336-0-0-0-en/info.html
(I really would like to read the book in English. I even would buy the book and offer it to someone who would be able and willing to translate it into English.
Furthermore I would pay for it. The best would be if there would be more interested readers. They could join their forces - not at least their pecuniary efforts - only a dream?)
For the European scene there's Ekkehard Jost's book "Europas Jazz 1960–80".
I have two copies - the older one is full of marks - I tried to get or at least to hear the recordings reviewed in the book. Not at least through IS and several friends and acquaintances I got to know through blogging et.al. I almost succeded....
Also important were three books from Bert Noglik > "Jazz im Gespräch", "Jazzwerkstatt International" and "Klangspuren - Wege improvisierter Musik".
New impulses were available through the books and articles of Peter Niklas Wilson
"Hear and Now. Gedanken zur improvisierten Musik" (he played contrabass among others with Anthony Braxton).
Unfortunately the above books are available in German only....
I recommend Heffley's book strongly!
But also (in English)
- George Lewis "A Power Stronger Than Itself" (about the AACM mostly).
- John Corbett "Extended Play"
- Graham Lock "Chasing The Vibration" and "Forces In Motion". The last one portrays The Anthony Braxton Quartet during their tour in England (1985) with Lock on board.
Recently I've bought a book which is recommended heartily > Trevor Barre's "Beyond Jazz: Plink, Plonk & Scratch - The Golden Age Of Free Music In London 1966-1972"
These are a few of the texts I would recommend for a start (and further----->).
A little research at the www will offer some other texts from Mike Heffley about the subject.
And not at least I want to point out the first and only book in English with Peter Brötzmann: "Peter Brötzmann - We thought we could change the world" Conversations with Gérard Rouy" (2015) > http://www.wolke-verlag.de/broetzmann-world.html
onxidlib: Wow, thanks. That's an excellent list.
Regarding Soejima, it sounds like you have a modest project to take to kickstarter/pozzible/et al.
I'll get reading, then.
The best would be if there would be more interested readers. They could join their forces - not at least their pecuniary efforts - only a dream?
I'd also be interested in seeing if we could convert your dream into reality.
Hi and thanks very much for all the wonderful and otherwise unavailable music.
Does anyone know how I can safely subscribe to premium access at 1fichier? They no longer accept Paypal or any charge cards for payment. Zeevex is not readily available in the U.S. and bank transfer fees would be more than the cost of the subscription. Thanks again.

Hallo Bernhard - Hallo Alex
Sorry - but I do not have any of the releases you're mentioning.
I am looking for the additional files of the NDR JAZZ WORKSHOP #164 with Peter Brötzmann's Alarm Group. Partly released on the FMP record "Alarm" - but a lot of the recorded material seems to be not available yet. A track list is on Peter Losin info page (http://www.plosin.com/milesahead/Tapes.aspx?s=19811112).
Also requested - to the honorable memory of John Taylor and Kenny Wheeler:
NDR-Jazzworkshop #132 with Azimuth (03.02.1978)
FRANZ KOGLMANN WITH STEVE LACY – FLAPS (PIPE RECORDS, 1973)

Would you be able to repost the live Weather Report set from 1971? Thanks in advance!
I would like to ask for a re-up of "Jazzgalerie Nickelsdorf – The 20th Anniversary Album" which I posted myself in Jauary 2012.
I wanted to re-up myself - but I do not find it anymore.
Maybe someone who grabbed it then would like to help and send me (us) the files-
Nick, Andy or Wallofsound - could you help?
Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone
in Mark Weber's Bobby Bradford Timeline you can read:
— Rejoins Ornette for three-night gig at Slugs, East Village, NYC and recorded SCIENCE FICTION album @ CBS Studios, 49 East 52nd Street, NY, 6th floor in Studio E — Bobby misses the first day of school in La Puente where he is employed as 6th grade classroom teacher — These are ironically the first formal recordings of Bobby with Ornette (BB on these sessions Sept 9 & 10) — About these sessions, years ago Bobby told me how Ornette had used a sort of makeshift traffic signal gadget to let soloists know when their solo was over, it was a red light-green light set-up, and I have often thought about this device, and in a recent conversation with Bobby he said you can hear a note of his at the tail end of one of Dewey’s solos because of misdirections from the Go-Stop lights [telcon 10mar2o10] — And so, lo & behold, in the booklet for the 2009 Dave Brubeck Quartet 3-cd Sony Legacy Edition of TIME OUT there is a photo of this traffic signal (a lot less homemade than I had imagined) in Studio E !
*The Slugs gig was first weekend of September: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, September 3, 4, & 5 — recordings exist of Sept 3 & 5 recorded by the painter John E. D’Agostino — Radio host Ben Young WKCR aired the extant recordings on his Ornette birthday show March 9, 2o14
Did anyone record the broadcasting? Could you upload on incostant sol?
Thanks
Alessandro

Could someone please re-up Henry Kaiser-Ice Death,1977 (Parachute-05). Links are sadly dead.
Thanks very much.
Stuff happens. Fortunately, I still remember what I wrote.
To the request from PE_35: The Diamond Express/Ubagile is generally available from the usual sources, so we're a bit reluctant to reupload that one. However, I have other Pukwana records that are hard to find. Any of those, perhaps?
To brian: We have posted very many Tusques records over the years. All of them or anyone in particular?
To George Lane: I may have some of them. I will check.
SOS should be doable.
Any chance of a re-post of James Newton Trio/Quartet

Maybe this is not the best place to ask, but I don't know any place better. Does anybody have Duke Ellington's Treasury Series (D.E.T.S.)?

Dear Scraps: The DETS series, which is beyond totally great!, is easily available thru amazo and Storyville--get on it!
I'm disabled, and poor. (Stroke, half of my body paralyzed, speaking is not good, etc.) I didn't know that it's available, so I'll stop asking. But it's not "easily available", to me.

As there seem to be several Italians contributing here, maybe this won't be an absurd request: Does anyone out there have any recordings by the late Italian corpofonista Enzo Del Re? A biography and compilation CD of his work appeared last year in Italy, but I understand that he sold privately-produced cassettes, including a 4-cassette "etymological opera" about his homeland in Mola, at his live shows that are absolutely unavailable anywhere else. Thanks in advance for any information too.

Hello!
Is there any possibility of a re-up? I so very much miss Breuker's live performances and the composer himself. This record has eluded me for so long, always out of reach it seems, always out bid or too late. Hopefully, someone will be merciful and kind :-) I would be most delighted. Thank you!

anticredos, I have the George Lewis show, but unfortunately no longer in FLAC, just 320 AAC (or MP3 I forget). I don't know how to use the upload sites, but I'll try and figure it out, maybe using mega since that seems to be the best nowadays.

Hello.
This request is perhaps for Andy because he seems to have many tapes regarding British Jazz, but if someone else can help...
I'm searching for a session of Steve Miller, Pip Pyles and Elton Dean, privately recorded in December 1976. One track have been published on the cd "Steve Miller Meets Elton Dean" (reel records). it is the last track titled "One for Three". But I've heard several times that there are more tracks from this session. if someone can provide them it would be great, the feeling of the only one available is totally crazy in my opinion.
Sorry, I can't help with this I'm afraid.
Hello, is there any chance for a re-upload "http://inconstantsol.blogspot.de/2009/07/borah-bergman-live-in-genoa-81.html" (was uploaded by riccardo)? Thank you very much.

Billy Bang - Changing Seasons @160:
http://jazzbros.blogspot.de/2011/05/billy-bang-changing-seasons.html
Hi, could someone please reupload this album:
http://inconstantsol.blogspot.ca/2014/05/bengt-frippe-nordstrom-meaningless-blue.html
Thank you
Thank you Ex-Lucky for the BB but for me mp3 under 320 is generally not acceptable due to the poor sound quality and dynamic, it is the case with this file. Due to the fact that I prefer quality than quantity my request is still available: Billy bang Changing Season in flac.
Ex-Lucky, thank you! Your service is appreciated by me.
Hi everybody.
This message is specially for Kinabalu or Sotise or Serviceton, who were contributors and regular followers of 9greychairs. If one of you still have the file in flac of Noah Howard Traffic it would be great to post it, or if someone else could help of course it would be great too!

Nick, thank you very much for the Billy Bang and also for the update on Machi oul, my week end who was about to be boring between the rain and the football mass of my city (Paris) will be nice with your kind help, and thank to Norman also to have re-discovered Machi Oul from the impressive archives of the best blog!
Hi Nick
Just transferred the Billy Bang on a cdr and I really wanted to thank again not only for making it available but also for the high transfer quality, my old cdr full of noise is now just a bad memory!

Hello to all
if someone can post on flac:
-Staford James Jazz A Confronto 26 from Horo Records
No reissue and probably never reissued, all the informations about a complete reissue of the Horo records have never been concrete.
Okay here is Night And Day Plays Them All on MP3 320. Google drive link until I figure out how to use fichier. Don't know what I did with the FLAC files so MP3 will do for now.

Hi,
is it possible to re-up the Altena ´72 album?
Thanks
I recently ripped three lp´s of mine, maybe somebody is interested
Kühn Brothers - Mad Rockers
https://www.sendspace.com/file/wh9gol
Kühn Brothers - Bloody Rockers
https://www.sendspace.com/file/xfpadk
Gil Evans-Montreux Jazz Festival 1974
( Strawberry Cover)
https://www.sendspace.com/file/vcyicv
@ Sven: Not complaining but is it possiblethat you post the 2 Kühn Brothers rips in a lossles format?
Many thank in advance.
@propylaen2001:Will post lossless in the next few days, Altena 72 would be a fine thing to hear
I have Altena '72 somewhere on my external hd.
Shall find it...
Hi Everybody
I have some request maybe for official post because they are all rare and interesting records in my opinion:
-Cossi Anatz Jazz Afro Occitan on Palm
and 3 Walter Zuber Armstrong:
-Alpha & Omega, High Place, Hitana
I was able to find all of them but on mp3 low quality and transfer was not so good. The high quality of the flac transfer provided by the contributors here makes me dream of those records in a "inconstant sol" reissue version!
Here are the lossless versions as promised.Due to Sendspace restrictions i had to split the records in two parts
Kühn Brothers
Bloody Rockers Part One
https://www.sendspace.com/file/akjxgj
Kühn Brothers
Bloody Rockers Part Two
https://www.sendspace.com/file/jocd2p
Kühn Brothers
Mad Rockers Part One
https://www.sendspace.com/file/fq50wl
Kühn Brothers
Mad Rockers Part Two
https://www.sendspace.com/file/o9w96s
Thanks Sven, I am fine with mp3 for Kuhn Bros, but I got question: are there any cover scans or info files in flac uploads?
Though I have no scanner i cannot provide cover scans but therre are lot of scans in the net
http://roaratorio.com/sold-out/steve-lacy-sideways/
is a re-upload possible ? thanks . d .L.
I've lost the files for https://inconstantsol.blogspot.de/2014/04/mal-waldron-tokyo-reverie-victor.html.
Could someone help me and re-up the files. Would be appreciated - off course!
@ Sven: Many thanks for the Kühn Brothers in FLAC format!

Hello Mew 23
Some years ago you have posted a concert of OM on Different perspective in my room, but the link is dead, coud you repost it here if everyone is agree.
thank in advance.
mew23 - thank you very much for the re-up of Waldron!!
@Nod Y: I have a mp3 copy of OM´s Live At Montreux album, if that is what you´re looking for i can provide a link
@oxidlib:Did you find the Altena 72 file?
Hi!
I am searching for this record:
Exotic Prince - Speak Up & Love Music That Is In You
https://www.discogs.com/Exotic-Prince-The-Insane-One-Speak-Up-Love-Music-That-Is-In-You/release/5915845
Thanx in advance
Hi Sven
Thank for your message, it is not the live at MOntreux that I'm searching for but the Live at Festival Alpentoene 2013 in Altdorf, Switzerland, on August 16, 2013. It is a radio broadcast.
Hello.
There is a band that have never been featured here, it is the Contact Trio. 3 albums are great and would be very interesting in a post: Double Face, New Marks and Musik. Avant garde and space jazz inspired by krautrock. if someone could share them it would be great; in flac.
This one have been posted on the contribution section of another blog
https://www.discogs.com/Chris-Green-Mervyn-Africa-Thebe-Lipere-Paul-Rogers-2-Paul-Hession-Out-Of-The-Window/release/2722283
but unfortunately the post seems to come from a tape, not directly from the lp and it is also in mp3. The album is absolutely great and if someone have it and can do a high transfer I'm sure many people will appreciate it.
Hi everybody,
it would be great appreciated if some guy uploaded a lossless rip of
john stevens folkus - the life of riley &
spontaneous music ensemble - One, Two Albert Ayler
both released in Affinity back in 80's, tha last with recordings from 1971...
thanks in advance
Alex in Solex
I wonder if anyone recorded the recent 'Gulf of Berlin' performance on BR-Klassik;
https://www.br-klassik.de/programm/radio/ausstrahlung-732560.html
I was travelling at the time, but listened to the broadcast on the BR-Klassik live stream, and was really impressed. If anyone has a recording, that would be greatly appreciated. I'm buying their jazzwerkstatt CD anyway,
Hi Tantris,
A friend of mine recorded it. Here is his raw mp2 file:
http://www35.zippyshare.com/v/8dxc5r75/file.html
Joerg
Hi Joerg - thank you very much! I'm listening now, and it sounds excellent.
There's a lot in it that reminds me of that great Michael Pilz album, Carpathes - that's probably why I liked it so much when I first heard the broadcast. Many thanks again, Joerg. It'll be a great contrast & complement to the live broadcasts from Bayreuth which are coming up now in the schedule.
Hello to all
I have posted some month ago some request about Toshi Tsuchitori but perhaps nobody saw it. My message is for the generous contributors like Onxidlib, Andy, Kinabalu, Nick, Sotise or others who are concerned, if some of you can re-up part or the total Toshi Tsuchitori albums that have been previously posted here some years ago it would be great.
thank in advance.
Hi Nod y - I've searched my collection and my hd's but couldn't find any Toshi Tsuchitori except
http://inconstantsol.blogspot.de/2013/05/toshi-tsuchitori-mototeru-takagi.html.
This I shall re-up soon.
And these two rips with Tsuchitori are still available
http://inconstantsol.blogspot.de/2011/05/milford-graves-meditation-among-us.html
http://inconstantsol.blogspot.de/2011/01/derek-bailey-duo-trio-improvisation.html
I fear I've missed the chance to grab the other one's when they were still available....
Hi Onxidlib
I have supposed that you haven't got the files because I know that when you have some you re-up very fast. if others people have them it would be great, your re-up of the Tsuchitori Takagi will be appreciated. Perhaps the others solo albums will come back !!
Hi Onx again
it appears that it is Nick who have posted all the tsuchitori solo albums, if I'm right Nick is still around this blog so if someone can let him know in case he haven't seen my request... Many thanks for the great job here.
Yes Nod y - the Tsuchitori posts are from Nick.
It seems Nick is quite busy these days in real life - so I post new links for him as long as I have the music...
But I'm confident that he reads the comments from time to time and - if time permits - will do a re-up for us.
Hi - sorry not to respond very quickly - but I have had a lot of work and frail parents to keep busy with.
When you have time, could you please re-up:
Charlie Mariano & Jerry Dodgian - Beauties Of 1918
Thanks.
@Onxidlib it is not the correct place to say thank you I should post my thank in the post of Tsuchitori/takagi but thank you for the re-up.
@Nick
Thank for your answer and I just can say that I hope you will have some more times in the future to re-up the other Tsuchitori. I meet him some years ago when he was working in paris with Peter Brooks for theatre and he is a very interesting guy who almost forgot that he made those records!
Hello.
I have already posted a request in the specific post but I wonder if all can see it.
A re-up of
http://inconstantsol.blogspot.fr/2013/06/richard-teitelbaum-hiuchi-ishi-denon.html
would be really great. Nick was the original one who posted it but if he is very busy and if someone else have the file and can re-up it it would be absolutely great
thanks in advance.
Air - Live Moers, Germany 5-29-1977 radio broadcast in FLAC. More Air to follow, Enjoy
sorry but all the AIR links are gone, could someone be so kind and re post them please ...
THX!...
Igor put the Air links in the contributions comments
yes, does in the contributions are the ones that are alredy dead.... it's strange but they are gone...can someone fix them, please?...
THX!....
I resurrected all the links from the old contributions. Take a look at the comments from "Contributions" and directly in the "Contributions" post.
Well not all but all which still were working. And I hadn't access to all comments via the way-back machine.
Lots of great Erich Kleinschuster music shared here. If anyone has the session Kleinschuster did with Carmell Jones please post it - thanks !
I have uploaded the Kleinschuster with Carmell Jones already in April but I've forgot to post it.
Shall do so soon.
Can anyone post Der Urschrei of Wolfgang Dauner? It don't need Tod be in losless' mp3 is Albright with me
Could you re-up the 1968 New Acoustic Swing Duo Live show in Essen, would be much appreciated.
Or3basssNette says you R right. Fine, I am just joking. Come to join us on FB. IS. Circle, The Dance of Is. Isis, Osiris, Ptah The El Daoud. :)
if someone have it and could post it it would be great:
-Henry Threadgill Zooid "Pop Start The Tapes, Stop" lp published more than ten years ago by the independent label Hard Edge
thank in advance if someone can share.
I have the LP. I've ripped it already some years ago for my broadcast.
But before posting it would be appreciated if somemone could confirm that the LP is OOP.
I know that the label is still operating but as far as I know they do not have a website.
Hi Onxidlib.
The only thing that I can say from the producer and founder of Hard Edge Velibor Pedewski is that he was not happy with the sound of this recording (don't know why) and he have sold all the copies without wanting to re-press it. So some copies are perhaps still in the second hand market but not directly from the producer. yes the label is still active, less than one year ago Mr Pedewski aka hard Edge have published two cd's: one with Wadada Leo Smith and one with Graham Haynes and Brandon Ross, both are electro-experimental with jazz. Pedewski describe himself as a sound designer.
To be totally sure I have just checked at dmg who provides the hard edge titles and the Threacgill is gone for good.
Can we please get a re-up of an uncommon Indian addition this site, La Vina De S.Balchander originally uploaded by Sotise?
Would be awsome!
Thanks
Also as a follow up, would love to be able to hear the mystery casette of Korean music here
inconstantsol.blogspot.com/2010/11/korean-traditional-music-casette-asia.html
A thousand thanks!
Wouldn't you know it? The only time I've ever posted anything which I've downloaded. Sorry guys, as akaboshi14 pointed out,on the Louis Stewart album tracks 5 and 6 were the same. Unfortunately, I don't have the wherewithal to correct things so I've deleted it rather than offer something not right. The original download must have been like that. So if anyone does have Louis Stewart - I Thought About You, in it's completeness, a contribution would be most welcome. Thanks, and apologies.
Would it be possible to re-post at least some of the Kevin Ayers files that were on this wonderful blog? Thanks you
@ Farmer Allan- I do not have any of the Kevin Ayers downloads offered here at IS.
Is it possible to re-up "My favourite animals" by Alterations ?
Thank you in advance.
Hello
This is a message for Ernst Grgo Nebhuth or for all who should be concerned. Two great albums by the Contact Trio have been posted some weeks ago. I recently had the chance to hear one older album but from a tape. "Double Face" published by Kalig, if Ernst or someone else have the original lp and could share it here, it would be absolutely great. This album is just incredible, their best in my opinion.
thank in advance.
HI Nod y - unfortunately I do not have "Double Face" nor a rip of the LP...
Only found a mp3 rip > http://musicadegradata.blogspot.de/2013/01/contact-trio-double-face-1975.html
and here > http://surfingtheodyssey.blogspot.de/2016/08/contact-trio-1975-double-face.html#comment-form (do not know wether it's mp3 - the filefactory server was temporarily blocked)
Looking for out of print MEV releases
http://inconstantsol.blogspot.com/2008/09/original-mev-1968-reissued-1996.html
Hi Ernst
thank for the links about contact trio, the musica degradata one is very difficult to download, i thought the file was gone but yesterday I got a link but it didn't work, the surfintheodyssey one is not complete, one track is cut before the end. I will try to make a correct copy coming from both if i can catch the musica degradata one. But if someone here can rip the lp it would be better. Both of the ones you suggest are in mp3.
Please help - I need a lossless rip of the Group Ongaku's sole recording.
I have the LP but do not have enough time for a rip.
And my rip of the CD is lost somewhere in my collection....
I would need it for an upcoming broadcast this month. Also a reup of the post at IS would be fine.
http://inconstantsol.blogspot.de/2010/11/group-ongaku-196061-hear-sound-art.html
Thanks in advance.
Can someone post Anthony Braxton's "London (Solo) 1988"? Thanks
Hello - Is there any chance of a RE-Up for RIRI SHIMADA / TAKEHISA KOSUGI "THE OTHER WORLD OF ERIC SATIE" (VAP, 1982)
http://inconstantsol.blogspot.com/2012/09/riri-shimada-takehisa-kosugi-other.html
Thank You So Much

I have Double Face - it will be a while though
Shimada + Kosugi playing Satie is on it's way...
