Very sad news.
I don't think this trend is ending unfortunately Vanderbrötz. None of these guys are getting younger. So seize the day and enjoy every chance you get to see one of these masters, or hear something new from them.

It's a very sad news. Those last years I was sometimes in touch with Michel, asking him for some cd and each time he sent his music for free, never asking money.
Less than one year ago I was searching for one of his cd and when I told him that I learn to play bass clarinet with Denis Colin, he told me to say "hello" to him and when I asked him the price of the cd + shipping. He reply :
"Between bass clarinet players we can help each others"
I keep those words from you Michel, in my memory, and it is a pleasure to have some music in my collection that doesn't come from a store but directly from you.
