nikos said...: Surely one of the giants of free jazz in Europe and beyond. I was lucky enough to see him live in 2020 at the Underflow Club in Athens, Greece, solo and in duet with Heather Leigh. He was terrific, blowing as hard as ever, even though he was almost 80. Between sets I talked to him briefly, and he signed on the cover of a Die Like A Dog Quartet album for me. R.I.P.
