It seems that the problem concerns the whole Italy.
Hi Softnucleus - you need a VPN for your browser or you could use a proxy-page for downloading from 1fichier. I have the same problem with Zippyshare here in Germany.
proxysite is the best and faster solution for this problem, I just finished to download this video, many thanks!
Proxysite is fine for a single download but for videos so big is not suitable unless you have a long time to wait, hours or maybe days with fichier. Same problem with zippy. ADrive is always welcome when it happens. I didn't know it was a problem in Italy. But good old youtube can help, I just watched a beautiful Ida Lupino from the Paul Bley trio. Thanks anyway for your great work and dedication Ernst Grgo Nebhuth!

Grazie Ciccillo, ma pazienza e dedizione sono poco compatibili con il mio momento attuale. La cosa che mi irrita di fichier è che anche a distanza di uno o due giorni ti risbattono in faccia i loro lunghissimi conteggi nonostante uno cambi il server proxy. Il tempo passa, io arrivai proprio quando Inconstant Sol nacque come una fenice dalle ceneri di Church Number Nine. Erano i tempi di rapidshare, filepost fino a megaupload di cui tutti abbiamo beneficiato. C'erano belle persone che condividevano i loro tesori un po' ovunque e scaricare era facile. Ecco perchè fichier oggi mi sembra una specie di strozzino.

Regarding 1fichier I don't think they are no heavy profiteers. At least not more than all other filehosters. Actually a year's subscription is not more than 30,- Euro. This means it is less than 3,- Euro per month.
For me a major point is to have the service of a filehoster who keeps my files and folders as long as possible without asking too much money from me.
To move files from one hoster to another one is a major task regarding my leisure time.
So I shall remain with 1fichier as long as it is useful for me.
BTW - I believe a VPN for the browser is far more comfortable than a proxy-site - at least for downloads with several files/folders. Tried both possibilities for small and bigger downloads. Only my five pence.
