Drouet was part of the under-rated, yet great band called "New Phonic Art", and also of course a member of the Stockhausen gang around the time of the infamous and mind-blowing "From the 7 Days" stuff. I have had good luck ordering from the Stockhausen operation in Germany- go for it![Come to think of it JF-JC was a key member then, too. I will be interested to see people post comments about the actual music on this interesting contribution!

I find this a very enjoyable floating mobile of configurations and solos, impeccably presented by our poster. Jeanneau & Chautemps balance each other quite effectively. A strong showing from Texier. Bravo to Humair for a fine job directing this whole affair. That being said, Drouet's inclusion does feel like an afterthought, though one can be grateful for even a brief chance to hear him outside of NPA, Berio, Stockhausen... I'm delighted to hear he came under the tutelage of René Leibowitz (check out his Beethoven symph cycle!), Barraqué, and Hodeir. Wow! What an upbringing!
Anyway, I was surprised at moments where I could have been fooled I was hearing a Vandermark group (though with broader emotional color)! Thanks again for sharing this!

Hi Nick

Could you re-up this one please, thanks in advance. Didn't know this one from Chautemps that I met sometimes.
