Nick, Thank you for this early ultra rare Michele Portal he is one of my favorites caught me by surprise again.
ReplyDeleteTasty, thanks.
ReplyDeleteThis is a very important album historically, and also a very beautiful one! These guys were basically Karlheinz's house band around this time - if you like this, make sure you get the "From the Seven Days" 7-cd box, reasonably-priced, from the Stockhausen web site. If Bozoid was a musicologist he could go on and on for hours about how cool this stuff is, enjoy Big Nick's taste in music...
ReplyDeleteGreat! Thank you so much Nick!
ReplyDeleteWow, some incredible stuff has been turning up here lately -- thanks, Nick!
ReplyDeleteAs long as this is happening, I might as well ask: are there any rips of the Deutsche Gramophon box set out there? I have a 160 kbps rip I can hand out, but that's pretty far below our current standards.
1009 - I was going to post the New Phonic Art disc from Free Improvisation too, in a bit.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your consistently interesting posts. We would never normally hear this music.
ReplyDeleteHere's some text I wrote a few years ago on New Phonic Art that may be of interest:
