Cool, thanks.
ReplyDeleteI had found out about this record somehow back in the 90's, and I'd had it on my wish list for years till someone else finally posted it on another blog. Of course, I have to check out your rip so I can make sure to have the best quality! This is of course an example of generosity and effort for the sake of the music, and I wish I had better ways of showing my appreciation than my little anecdotal stories!
ReplyDeleteThanks, this is much appreciated!
ReplyDeleteThanks for this rarity.
ReplyDeleteMillions thanks, I am a Mal Waldron fan this is really great
ReplyDeleteI was lucky enough to find a lossless copy of this beauty a while ago. But, like Newk, I'm going to download your rip. Thanks very much for the splendid share, Nick.
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot!
ReplyDeleteBought this on LP many years ago and it's fantastic, one of my favorite Mal LPs. It's actually quite surprising that no reissue has appeared.
ReplyDeleteLovely sounding vinyl rip, Nick!
ReplyDeleteThank You!
Fred Braceful (later of Exmagma)! --dandor

ReplyDeleteMal Waldron is pretty much the bee's knees. I've been looking for this one a long time. Cheers.
ReplyDeleteIf I recall correctly Orgy In Rhythm shared it a few years ago. I'm following the gang in ensuring I have the highest quality rip. Many thanks, Nick. I'm particularly pleased to be prompted to go back and listen again.

I think WallofSound is correct. I love this record and even the cover of Eleanor Rigby can be decent if you are in the right mood
ReplyDeleteStrange history of this record's release. Thanks, Nick!
ReplyDeletemany thanks for this excellent rip,i've had a 320 for some time but this is a wonderful upgrade

Many Thanks,i am a Waldron fan, but this album it's near to impossible to collect.
ReplyDeleteThanks for this! It sounds better than the copy I had. I noticed, though, that it runs slightly slower than my previous copy. And, indeed, when I compare the running times to the album scan in the download, the running times of the flac files are slightly longer. I'm wondering which is correct. My old files match the running times on the album scan, so I'm guessing the files posted here are slightly slow. But maybe the original album was mastered slightly fast and this was corrected when it was put out on CD?
