EUROPEAN JAZZ ALL STARS "C'EST TOUT" (FAR EAST, 1970)
Four LPs by the Europe(an) All Stars were cut during their August 1970 tour in Japan. This is the first one the fourth and last one you'll find here
The list of all four LPs you will find in the comments of the fourth LP - courtesy of bunsen_lamp.
His listing sparked my desire to hear the others...does anyone has the other two: "Our Kind Of Sabi" and "Astrorama"?

ReplyDeleteWhat a fascinating line-up, I had no idea this grouping had existed! Many thanks.
ReplyDeleteNice to hear Jean-Luc in this context. Maiden Voyage is the Herbie Hancock tune. Thanks a lot onx.
ReplyDeleteThanks very much for this one
ReplyDeleteI would never have dreamed this line-up existed.
ReplyDeleteAlmost the same line-up (without Eddy Louis) is available at http://prettybrian.blogspot.de/search?updated-max=2012-05-06T08:59:00%2B02:00&max-results=7
ReplyDeleteSurprises never end. This is truly a rare jewel. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteThanks for this. I've searched for Astrorama but I've yet to find a rip. According to descriptions, it's one of Ponty's best early performances and the samples I've heard online bear this out. Apparently an expensive CD reissue exists.
