ReplyDeleteNice ecclectic stuff. Would fit nicely into CRAMP's repertoire.
ReplyDeleteVery interesting music.
ReplyDeleteEast Bionic Symphonia were a group of improvisers and artists who studied together under Takehisa Kosugi at the Bigakko artschool in Tokyo in the mid-1970s. As a graduation project they recorded an album of free improvisation that was edited by Kosugi and released on the ALM label in 1976. Several of the members went on to have careers in underground music and the visual arts. The remnants of the group reconvened in 1997 under the name Marginal Consort and continue to play annually.(Info: PNF)
Thank you.
It is a real pleasure to see this record here at incostant sol, I bought a vinyl reissue of this one some years ago and I really loved it, don't missed it
ReplyDeleteVery nice seeing this here. It has more than a passing resemblance to the recordings of the Taj Mahal Travellers, of which I'm a great fan.
ReplyDeleteMerci Nick, merci Onxidlib, this is gripping ! captivating moods, from caverns to ethereal places.
ReplyDeleteI feel like exploring the Taj Mahal Travellers now.
Yes indeed!
ReplyDeleteMany thanks to Nick for this very rare share!
a thank you is not enough, but thank you anyway
ReplyDeleteIt's a very lovely album. I have the original on ALM.
ReplyDeleteDear Anonymous,
ReplyDeleteI have a question for you about the original on ALM. Would you mind writing me at "danny@lafms.com"? Thank you.
This rip and artwork is the original on ALM, Danny
ReplyDeleteI only have five records on ALM. East Bionic Symphonia, GAP, Kiyohiko Sano, Akio Suzuki and New sense of hearing by Akio Suzuki and Takehisa Kosuvi on ALM-Uranoia.
ReplyDeleteDanny, sorry, but I don't sell my copy on ALM. The music on the LAM album is the same and that record is a lot cbeaper.
