  3. Very interesting music.
    East Bionic Symphonia were a group of improvisers and artists who studied together under Takehisa Kosugi at the Bigakko artschool in Tokyo in the mid-1970s. As a graduation project they recorded an album of free improvisation that was edited by Kosugi and released on the ALM label in 1976. Several of the members went on to have careers in underground music and the visual arts. The remnants of the group reconvened in 1997 under the name Marginal Consort and continue to play annually.(Info: PNF)

  5. Very nice seeing this here. It has more than a passing resemblance to the recordings of the Taj Mahal Travellers, of which I'm a great fan.

  16. Kiui is a double LP by Kiyohiko Sano. ALM records (AL-3008/9). Analapos by Akio Suzuki is the last one in the performance serie (AL-3010). The tracks on the Sano album are: Anonimus, Gap, Cue, Toss-up, For TRAZUM, URN, Source, Space and KIUI. The tracks on the Suzuki album are: Poetry of sound and Analapos.
