  3. What? Arthur Jones? Like, THE Arthur Jones, of *Scorpio* etc? If so, wow. They played together on Wright's 2nd ESP date, I think, but I was unaware of further collaborations. Or even that AJ was still in music by 1981. Thanks so much for putting this out here.

  4. Now this is too much! I was just wondering the other day if either of you taped this or the EHE show from '81 Moers. Thanks again to both of you for sharing your collection with us!

  8. @ alec, yours is a right question :
i've taped the '79 and '80 festival edition while "Ilario" has taped the '81 edition, so, in the next future,
even the Ethnic Heritage Ensemble could be posted.

    a collective hug

  10. Riccardo:

Having never heard this before, I thought I was going to miss Alan Silva on this one, and I was unsure what J-J Avenel would do with Frank Wright. I had seen Avenel in the 70's in Paris with Lacy, and I knew that he could paint the walls with his bass.

But it was only after hearing track 2 of this that I realised that Alan Silva, man, you screwed up by missing this gig. Avenel takes the paint right off the walls!

  19. In memory
    Dear brother Riccardo
it is a pleasure to remember you with the photo of Brunello 1997.
There is still a case in the cellar.
It will be an opportunity to remember you again.
A hug to heaven that the earth is mild to you.
