SWING JOURNAL JAZZ WORKSHOP: 4 "2 TO 10 / SAXOPHONE ADVENTURE" (PHILIPS, 1970)

If someone would have asked me whether this LP is available at Inconstant Sol I would have answered with a firm "yes".
But I was wrong.  How come I had this 'false memory' I don't know but now I'm almost 100% sure that I got this rip from Nick already five years ago....

  5. Ernst, much thanks! I was hoping a rip exists as Nick posted scans on Discogs.
Do you perhaps have Percussive Unity Live? That's another one I'm looking for.

  6. Hi mvns - unfortunately I don't have Percussive Unity Live. Not on vinyl and not as a rip.
Maybe Nick will read this comment and will find time and leisure to offer a rip.

  7. Sabu was trying to organize as re-release for some time, but I think licensing issues prevented it.

  9. ah -- yeah, I heard from a friend of Sabu's that this was happening as well. I'll ask around and see what's up. Looking forward to finally hearing this crazy thing.

  10. Ernst this post made my eyes bug out, brother. Thank you.
Word from anyone on a upcoming release of this would be very interesting. I can tell before even hearing this that I would be down for a copy. What an amazing looking band... and duo!

  11. great record, Mototeru Takagi is incredible. It is also incredibly rare.
I add my voice to the request about Percussive Unity Live, I have never heard this band but the combination of the instruments seems exciting.
