PS  Paul had sent six of the DUNS to Cadence to sell as downloads.  It seems that they have put them on iTunes. I have removed Bread and Wine from here as that turns out to be one of the six - which are:

It's Abit Nocturnal (DLE029)
Not a Bit Like Coco (DLE037)
Thank You Dorothy (DLE046)

  1. What? That's all?
What a sad end to such a beautiful series ... 67 gems, apart from all the other beautiful stuff still available.

Thanks a lot, Paul and Andy.

  2. What a joy to have the 8 or so titles I didn't manage to buy. So much incredibly good music. These recordings deserve to live on. Thank you!

  7. I apologize that I did not particularly thanked each album that you set here. Everything was happening so fast at the time of my big business obligations, that I barely arrived "take" this treasure. Something I had, but ... priceless! Throughout the summer I will need this to listen to very carefully, in advance looking forward to it. Andy, Paul, thank you very much, I simply have no words, you gave us something so precious. I wish you much health and good music, and of course the interesting paintings (I can not run away from yourself). Cheers. V

  8. I’d like to add my thanks and appreciation to Andy and Paul, who has apparently been re-listening to his back catalogue with great interest.

Without wishing to appear a moaning minnie, there are a number of DLE’s that haven’t been posted, presumably because there are still copies out there for sale:

    1 – 3, 5, 6, 8, 14, 15, 29, 37, 41, 46, 49 – 51, 56, 63.

Assuming these catalogue numbers exist, it would be nice to have them in the future; but there’s plenty to be getting on with in the meantime!

  9. Woops...apologies, I compiled that list from my download folder, but forgot I already had a number of the CDs, which I didn’t download, so it’s probably the case that all 67 have been posted. More haste, less speed!

  10. 8,14,29,37,46 have not been posted as Cadence may be selling them as downloads sometime.

Please like the DUNS Limited Edition Facebook page if you are that way inclined, and share with your friends. All the music is there via Youtube, as well as links to Inconstant Sol.

  11. It was an amazing ride Andy. It will probably take me months to fully absorb all the great music contained in these records. Million thanks to mr Paul Dunmall for the amazing music and the artwork and his willingnesss to share and million thanks to you Andy for sharing and for all the hard work you put into this. I hope you still got some more treasures in your vaults. Thanks again and again.

  12. someday I hope to be able to say thank you in full appreciation of the music, not merely in full anticipation. It is an amazing gift and, from what I have heard before and the little I have listened to so far, rejoicingly serious. Heartfelt thanks to Paul Dunmall and everyone involved in the making and recording of series, to Andy for posting it, and to IS for keeping this and so much else available. msj

  14. Hell, yes! 67 thousand thanks to Paul, Andy & IS for that Leviathan share. Like Captain Achab, we'll keep shouting: "He's blowing!". Years of listening aboard, the music never stops…
PS Got the time to dive again into Folks History: a real beauty.

  17. Wow. I've been avoiding the blogosphere for a while now due having an immense pile of unlistened music already on the desk, including the Paul Dunmall first 50 FMR discs box. I had no idea that the DUNS titles were being made available here until just now. What a surprise! It's like all my Christmases have come at once. I already have about a third of the collection in physical form, so it will be great to fill in the rather large gap. (I didn't see http://www.efi.group.shef.ac.uk/labels/duns/duns015.html here - is the collection complete aside from the Cadence Jazz licensed titles?)

I have emailed Paul a couple of times over the years and he is a very friendly and approachable guy. After buying the FMR box directly from him I asked if there are similar plans for a companion DUNS box, and he didn't immediately rule it out. Given the interest from viewers of this blog I'd like to think there is still a chance. One can never have too much Dunmall!

    Cheers,
    Owen from Aus.
