  3. Thanks for this Nick. This is my favourite period for Dollar Brand. This release was followed by his two magnificent solo piano albums for Sackville; "Sangoma" & "African Portraits".

  14. Thanks again. I'm likely in the small minority but this one didn't really do that much for me. To my ear I'm not sure it really played to their strengths or quite jelled in terms of a flow all of them are quite capable of developing. It didn't seem like the piano stayed in tune either (though as hard as he was playing it perhaps no surprise).
