  7. have for a long time enjoyed this section at moers with murray of the david. never knew they recorded on their own! awesome! i remember gayle telling me murray's a really, really funny guy. and that from a man who rubs aborted fetus sponges across his instrument! i only ever caught that humor on a rare date he pulled with pope. drumming that made me laugh out loud! in a good way! anyway (straightens tie), top 10 most crucial drummers of the 20th Century (that we know of)? thanks a lot!

  8. I interviewed Sunny on WPRB about eight years ago, a master raconteur, full of good humor and wit. His interview stand out in the I AM ALBERT AYLER documentary ("It is what is is or it's nothing at all.".) Love this amazing record I'm just discovering, thanks so much.
