Paul DUNMALL. Tim WELLS. Dave ALEXANDER. The Complete Rumours Sessions 1992

This trio was a marvellous vehicle for Dunmall's saxophone playing.  Some of this was released on Live in London (DunsLtdEd 015) but the other sets deserve to be heard.

Especially for Bernd and Rudi who recently came to Birmingham UK from Austria to attend a Paul Dunmall concert.  Hats off chaps.

  1. Thanks a lot for the share. Only recently discovered Dunmall, so looking very much forward to hear this.

  2. Klakadak is in for a treat x 1000, because Dunmall is right at the upper-top tier of modern-saxophone expression, technical accomplishment and overall conception. Klak will have a great time exploring PD's great catalog, both official and Sol-er!

  3. Really enjoyed his performance last week to celebrate his 60th Birthday. And here he is as a younger man!

  4. Thanks,

I got the Live in London CD back in 2001 when it first appeared. Great stuff.
Does this upload contain the two pieces on that CD?

    Thanks!

  10. My pleasure Lee. I'm glad you're liking it. I've refreshed links for the two sets at The Water Rats by the same trio if you are interested.

  12. It rarely happens to me...but in this case, I felt the urgency to stop listening three quarters of the way through the first track. Too much! Too many emotions, too many forces released.
I'm not the new kid on the block. I'm 66 years old. But I had to stop.
    Dunmall is a demiurge.
