  1. I've been listening to jazz for 35 years and had never heard of Urs Blochinger until your posts. I'm discovering I missed an amazing composer and musician. I was sorry to read that he took his own life at 40 ... he certainly had the multi-instrumental chops and the creative composing skills akin to Braxton or RR Kirk. But in a class of his own. Thanks for making his work better known. He deserves it.
