  6. Not only my favorite Marion Brown album, but one of my favorite albums by ANYONE. Loved this for 40 years! Jeanne Lee, Steve McCall, Gunter Hampel are all magnificent. "I saw you do that" indeed.

  16. And the link above from 2016 is still good.
Or did you add a new rip, mew23?

    ReplyDelete
  17. No I didn't - now we have the same rip twice, only with different file names :-)

    ReplyDelete
  18. No problem - twice is better :-)
...plus you've added a Zippy link.
I've checked the files with 'traders little helper' and got 100% lossless - except track 3 which got only something like 56% or so...hmm
However Nick's rip sounds quiet good IMO.

  19. Thank you very much Mew23 as I said Mike's request gives me the opportunity to notice that my own cdr version was damaged.
it makes me think that I search for a live of Marion brown Quartet at Radio Bremen in 1969
Obviously there is only an mp3 version that was floating around but if someone have a lossless one it would be great. In case there is only a mp3 I would appreciate it too because I haven't got this concert, here is one link but the files are no more available here
