all this series of concert had a
double date : one evening in Rome and
one evening in Venice, but only one
concert was then broadcasted, in this case the Roman evening (May 19).

  10. Hi kinabalu. I tried to download the two sets again (lost the files in a partial hd crash). But my anti-virus software tells me it is a dangerous virus included?

  11. Hi Ernst,

yes, I had the same warning. Hmmm. I think I have better stop uploading material until I find out what's going on. Second time in a short while now.

  12. There's something different about the Rava link. Have yet to try Mengelberg. It's forcing itself into a different containing folder than the default downloads directory for the browser (Firefox) and then will not open with win RAR. Problem solved by extracting with 7zip, but how strange. Also any clue what that very loud sound is at the 1:55 mark of the RAVA set? Is that supposed to be there?

  13. Hi Jawn Michael, strange this extracting behaviour. Just downloaded the Rava set and tried it myself. It worked without the problems you're desrcribing. It even worked with win-rar.
However - the strange sound at 1:55 is a kind of coughing I would argue (deliberately by Han Bennink? - or from the smoke of Misha's cigarette?).
Insofar it belongs surely to the music. Mind you - it is Han Bennink ;-)
