  4. Been looking for their two duo releases forever. I know one is in print on Paul Bley IAI label, but the other? Would be grateful if that could be shared.

  8. Thanks Riccardo, that's a gem. There was a Sam Rivers LP released about that time titled "Flute!". Never seen the thing ever since. Never met anyone who remembers it. It would be great if someone could post a few words about it with the links. Inconstant Sol is THE reference for THIS type of music. And your blog has a magic name...

  9. Sam'n'Dave! Thanks!--I've long been a fan of the IAI dates so this is an unlooked-for treasure.

  10. I came to this thread about 6 years late, oh well.
By the way what does the "Masayuki Takayanagi EXPERIMENTAL PERFORMANCE with John Zorn" have to do with it and can either the rivers holland or the Takayanagi Zorn be re-upped?

  11. Is it possible this took place on the 12th?
The "Programme Definitif" suggests so, with the "Duo et Trio du RivBea New-York" on the 12th preceding the Orchestra. On the 13th, it's the "Soliste du RivBea of New-York" before the Orchestra...

  12. I now have the original Radio France NJP broadcasts. This duo, tho scheduled for the 12th and circulating dated the 14th, is on the October 11th broadcast with everyone else who played that day. I guess things change. :-)
I'm going through these (October 11, 12, 13, and 15) and updating and making corrections, will probably update the Sessionography in a few days. (Is a mess right now sorting all of this out).
Anyways, "As Far As I Know..."
